Visited Osaka, Nara & Kyoto solo in 2019 as a black women. It was the best best best. I can only recommend doing it on ur own terms. Made soo many friends and got to know the country in a very “lazy but organic way.” if I may say so. Enjoy yourself girl ✨

Did you feel discriminated? I heard if you’re a minority you get treated like trash, specially if you don’t speak the language. Some restaurants say no foreigners.

Ahhh! I just love how well you're able to blend a sit-down-and-chat video with amazing vidoegraphy🌟 And I'm glad to see you're able to travel around some more and explore.
I know there may be issues with filming people's private time but would it be possible for you to make more content such as "a typical week working in Japan" or "Grocery shopping tips" or even "a guide to good restaurants in Japan"? I'm mostly interested in what makes you feel more comfortable or any strange/funny experiences you sometimes encounter in your everyday life😅

Shaman is a person who acts as intermediary between the natural and supernatural world using altered states of consciousness, to cure illness, foretell the future, and control spirts. A monk by definition is solitary, a person who withdraws from society in prayer with vows of chastity and obedience.
As a single, black woman, in 1980, I traveled to Japan when I was 26 years of age as a solo traveler. During my two weeks, I visited Tokyo, Kyoto, Mt Fuji, and Hiroshima. As a female traveler, I practice the same safety precautions that I use every day as an American. I used the Safe provided by the hotel to store some of my travel money for safe keeping, and never left money in my hotel room, and didn’t depend on the “low crime rate” as a guide to lower my sense of my safety.
As a solo traveler, you were over-thinking everything and your sense of yourself and confidence in your ability to think and make wise decisions for yourself. STOP this nonsense now. You have to learn to live in the present and follow your mind and go with the flow. If you make mistakes, leave it alone, and move on. And yes, I do understand your feelings as a black woman living in Japan. They view you as an exotic human being and don’t know how to understand and approach you as a woman. Finally, your natural hair is the best and most powerful thing you can show the world of how beautiful you are. Stay as God meant you to be.

Thank you very much for this content! I realize a girl living in Japan is harder then living in the west like America, that's why most girls from the west can't survive in Japan.
