I am amazed with xixi being able to speak so fluently in both her languages (English n Mandarin). Her pronunciation and articulation of words were simply WOW! Kinda rare within this generation of youths~ JIAYOU XIXI !!
Talking about skinny shaming VS fat shaming, the concept may be similar but it’s NOT the same. Plus size individuals get bullied A LOT and the comments are usually quite brutal/toxic. Too much negative association towards the plus sized community, with all the negative labels and assumptions. It’s not fair to compare and say that it’s the same🥲 Thank you Xixi for creating awareness and representation the plus size community in the media:)

People like Bonita, the head of the basic models can be direct and to the point with other people, but I’m 100% sure that she cannot stand people being direct with her 😂
Sharing my experience as a fat adult: 1. Company makes tshirt sizes only up to XXL… like ok why not let us have the option to make our own, I don’t mind paying for more comfort than a tight shirt. Btw, a 60+kg female friends would want to wear XL already, so I think this whole “Asian” sizing is too skewed. Yes the XS is accommodating to women around 40kg but not everyone is that size. 2. Forget about finding a boyfriend LOL. Even if i “lower” my standards like what other people mentioned (not that I think they are unattractive but what people imply), to divorcees, darker skinned races, physically disabled, uneducated men, im sure they have other options too like finding a pretty mail order bride. 3. Hate to share grab with colleagues, like I can make my own way using public transport… bc I will always end up sitting in front with the driver and it’s awkward (nobody does that lol)
I used to think that I was happy when I was chubby and think that life is just unfair some people just have it easy, so I felt like it was impossible for me to slim down. But luckily I managed to after finding the right way and motivation to even hang in over the years. Definitely not easy but it was worth it. I hope Xixi finds a way that works for her. It is definitely a mental+emotional+physical challenge but at the end of the day, people will be amazed of the transformation and you can feel proud of yourself for being an overcomer. Xixi, you have beautiful features and I can just imagine how much more defined they will be if the extra fats were lost :-) Jiayou Xixi!

I think Hannah is definitely not as open/friendly as xixi from the onset (which is ok bc everyone is different), she has her walls up and is guarded.
