I am so excited to see another Heavy Gear batrep! Have you been following the plastics kickstarter? The more I see of it the more excited I am to receive my backing. These videos have been extremely informative.
My name is Miles and I run a Northern list as well, small world. Thank you for showing off the Beta rules, I think they play great. I've been working on a CEF list as well to help generate interest for HGB in my area.
Yes and no. They apparently took off the "beta" name and replaced it with "living" for the rulebook but the last update was in September 2015. With the plastics on the way in a few months, I'm guessing the rules will get one more yearly update before seeing print as the quick start rules in the starters.
And once again I must recite the wargamer's mantra: I will not buy into the game with awesome stompy robots. I already play too many miniatures games. I love my wife who lets me play with toy soldiers. I do not want her to leave me. I will not buy into the game with awesome stompy robots...
Great paint and table, came here for a look at how HG Blitz plays. Gives a bit of an idea. Thanks all for sharing.

Hopefully when people start getting there stuff more folks will come in to play! :)

Both of your armies are stunning looking on the table!

Wait, the beta is done? SWEET. I should get the minis back out.

Awesome job! Good to see Heavy Gear trying to make a resurgence!
Thanks Bernard! I've got more to record on the Calendar. :)

So how many did you buy?
Given 3.1 dropped recently, have you considered revisiting HG Blitz? It seems to have evolved qit a bit in the last 6 years.
Where are those Infantry models from? They would work very well for Battletech
the hexagonal bases totally threw me off
Is there anyway I can play this game on pc or tablet? I'd quite like to get into it but don't have time to do it for real
eatthisvr6 bit late but there was a Vassel engine version of it a while ago. I think it just got updated to the new version last week.
Hey Ash, you had much of a chance to play 1.0.0 9th Age?
Haven't even downloaded it yet, too many pans in the fire. :) Probably get to it over the summer.
