As per my video the secondary coil is connected to the body. this means that the core of the transformer and the rest of the metal frame of the oven is used as the ground of the high-voltage system. This is a normal. Make sure you switch off the system before you do some repair.

Thank you for watching..If the winding is bad or short the reading is 0 ohms. If the winding is open it means no continuity or no reading on your multimeter. Take note that the secondary winding of the microwave oven transformer is connected to the metal frame or body of the transformer
@@MakCyberTutorialChannel so if the heating coil is reading point0.2 ohms it’s bad. My secondary is also reading OL but to the body 102 ohms. In the range of “bad” you think?
Hi there, I maesured the secondary based on your video, however the value (between 152 and 198) showed up on the multimeter only for a second and it's go back to zero immediatelly. It does the same in every single touch. Please advise.
Means that the secondary winding is open.. make sure that the one lead of your multimeter is in place on transformer body frame and the rest test lead is on the secondary terminal. If the reading is goes down to 0 it means the winding is open
If your microwave isn't heating it's likely magnetron. I think burned-out magnetron & unfortunately can't be repaired, it has to be replaced. Other issues is a broken diode or a faulty door switch.
Very good. Video I like the illustration. Clear cut to the point easy to practice. Thanks a lot
thank you

Mine is pry. 3.5, heating coil 0.5, sec. 232. Is it ok
Are there any specific ranges to look for?
yes, what you see on my video that is the real reading
Thank you for sharing nice content 😊😊
Thanks for watching guys..

Hi, mine Primary 2,2, , heating 0,6, secundary 98-100 ohms, Is this normal? is there a problem?
Yup, that is normal.
@@MakCyberTutorialChannel mine is at .5 on the primary, the heater coil at .1 and secondary to body is 101.1, is that normal?
Nice, but I don’t have that second terminal on mine.
Primary 0.5 heating 0.3 sec 78.6. Is this bad?
very informative instruction
thank you
This is super cool! Thanks for making this video!
What about 12 megaohms from primary to body is that bad?
yes, that is bad...
nice idol❤❤
Hello bro, my trans. Is body short with secondary
How much is it risky in use
Or i should change the trans. (Transformer) Immediately

Bro i think no primary and no secondary coil should be connected with body
What you say about it?
the secondary coil is connected to the metal frame of transformer this means that the core of the transformer and the rest of the metal frame of the oven is used as the ground of the high voltage system.
1200W microwave inveter out by new transformer setting. Why transformer w plz answer me.
Inverter is a consist of power electronic device.
Transformer having 3 coil, primary, heating & secondary coil. & generated high voltage output
Galing naman thanks for sharing 👍
Maraming pong salamat sa pagdalaw nyo sa munti kong tahanan
how about defective trans? what the oms? primary, secondary?

Poor contact on the trans body. Scrape off the coating for proper probe contact
Thank you
Hallo my transformation ok,diot ok,capaciter ok but not hiting why?

Awesome! Thanks!
