Excellent! Well done! This is the only video I was able to find that actually showed step by step how to get a train when arriving from overseas. This is exactly what I needed. Thanks!
Thank you ~ You can get the SIM card at the arrival hall in the public area, a lot of options all the way to the train station. Their 4G very slow and limited 5G coverage:p
@@JJ-vy2rh oh wow!!!! Surprised the government did not own the track! This is interesting, I have to search on Wikipedia to find out more~ thanks for sharing!
@@JJ-vy2rh That's more like it - except that it's only the stations for the domestic and international airports that are privately owned. The trains serving the airport are part of the Sydney train system and go to a much wider area than the CBD. At morning and afternoon peak hours, the trains can get a bit crowded but we've always found other passengers to be understanding. It's a good idea to ask your hotel which is the best station for you to use, and how to get there from the airport. Almost all trains in the Sydney system are as you show - double deck and air-conditioned.
it's expensive, there is a $15 airport station surcharge as well as the normal train fare (approx. $3). The train is not a dedicated airport train, it runs on a normal suburban network.
This is a good service if time is tight and money isn't.The ticket has a premium price, construction wasn't cheap. If I have time I take the bus from the terminal, alight at Rockdale then onto the train network.Opal card is a blessing, some good deals.
@@Follow_ussg Thanks for your help Im Aussie coming there in May from Melbourne just trying to get a bit of a idea of it all seems like a good railway system you have
@@Follow_ussg hi Jim. Maybe you could go to an AFL game at the MCG, I'll think of other things and let you know. Have you seen the penguins or great ocean road?

Oh!! Thanks for sharing!
Is the bus has enough space for luggages?
Within reason,I forget the route number but the westbound goes to Burwood. If you're Chinese that might be good!!
^_^
I think the train will be easier to handle the luggages :p
