As very pressive accomplishment in my opinion. Not only are 1v1 games statistically going to produce much higher win percentages, but they are far less likely to bog down into 1 hour, 2 hour or even 5 hours marathons meaning you're likely to play a lot more games. If they want to keep everything lumped together for the official leaderboard, fine, but I'd like a chart that show stats for people who play actual multiplayer.
Although the title was a spoiler, I still enjoyed it! Well done MR Slin, I would suggest a more intriguing, ie: clickbait title, like "Finally in the top 1000???" or something similar so the surprise isn't ruined before even watching.
Impressive, given the rankings are more a numbers game than a skills game. If we take six players of roughly equal talent, and those six player play 100 games against each other, statistically speaking: If thy play 1v1, each player wins roughly 1 of 2 games for a 50% win rate. If they play 4 player games, each player wins roughly 1 in 4 for a 25% win rate. If they play 6 player games, each wins roughly 1 in 6 times for about a 16% win rate. Clearly, the incentive is to limit the number of player, and while 1v1 can be fun, it should be its own category and not part of actual multiplayer. Being able to rank up in 4-6 player games (especially fixed) is way impressive.
@@MRSLIN i know i'm late but you can just set up a custom game with a minimum rank and also you can make it 6 player with blizzards which is alot more fun then just playing auto matches all the time. More entertaining for your viewers
The +2 for location is only given on one of the cards, in the case where you have multiple cards with locations that you control it gives the +2 to the leftmost card. So whether he left in alberta or took it out he would have gotten 12 units either way (10 from the perfect turn in and 2 from the location). Though in this case it didn't matter since the +2 was in an inactive spot either way and he couldn't lose at that point since even with bad rolls the computer would have had like 2 or 3 territories at most
@@gyroninjamodder in the timestamp that you put in your first comment, you can see the +2 above middle east is pink and the +2 above greenland is white? that means that the +2 above middle east is the one that gets the extra units in this case. you can control which of your territories that you want to get the +2 on by having it ahead of the other cards, so if slin wanted the +2 on Greenland instead, what he would have done was remove middle east from the selection and re-add it so it would be put to the right of Greenland instead. For everything else it doesn't matter, the order only matters for the extra +2 troops if you have multiple cards for territories you control. Hope that makes sense
Well yes and no. I did waste time I guess cause I'm a perfectionist and wanted to put the +2 units in a good spot (which to your point didn't matter at all). But you can only cash in a single +2 bonus per turn in. So even if I own all 3 territories I don't get +6, it's capped to +2.
Congrat, dude! Feels so much better than noob farming your way up, right?
Well done!
Congratulations! You’ve been talking about getting there for a long while now. Happy to see you get it at last!
Congrats!!! So happy for you man! You earned it! 👏👏👏
Congratulations! Top 1K playing fixed classic is a really nice accomplishment I think.

21:40 someone in chat called the 970
22:55 Why did you remove Alberta? You wasted time and got less units for the turn in unless I'm missing something.

@@WolfOfLegend Thank you, but what do you mean my the left most card? I thought the order wouldn't matter.

@@WolfOfLegend Oooh than probably why some of my territories seemed to randomly get extra troops on them.
