I have grown up on two wheel mostly Crotch rockets but I have now had Both the Ryker 900 and the Spyder F3 Limited. I don't really think there is a down side to either but definitely a difference in how you plan to ride them. The Rykers were great for zipping around town but in my opinion that is really the only thing I would do on them. At 70 MPH they run appx 7000-7500 RPM and this has quite the vibration for long periods. I also got a lot of heat on the right side on the bottom side of my thigh from the exhaust system. Over all I did like the Ryker. Now that I have upgraded to the Spyder F3 Limited I can tell a huge difference in comfort and riding experience. The ride is smoother more comfortable the engine doesn't run so high on the RPM's and the fit and trim is way more superior to the Ryker. It is a bunch bigger and for sure not as zippy in town so you have to be a little more cautious when riding around town. In short ether option is good but depends on your financial situation and your plan of use. Me personally I am completely confident and pleased in my decision to upgrade. If you can afford the Spyder whether it is an F3 Base model up to a RT Sea to Sky go for the Spyder. So much more comfortable and just as enjoyable.
I'm a newbie to the riding world and the main reason for going can am. I took my test/course on a ryker. I'm a bigger guy so it was very uncomfortable. I test drove the f3 limited and was sold. I bought one as a retirement gift to myself. It took 8 months to get it but I'm getting more and more used to it every day. As the video said about responsibility, I only did local back roads for a while. Yesterday I did a major highway for the first time....only one exit(a few miles) to get a feel for the higher speed. Next day I went a little further. I'm really enjoying the trike! I went with the f3 limited for size, as I said before I'm large, and storage, as I hope to do longer outings. Not to mention the ryker was way too small for my body.
My wife and I both have 2021 Ryker Rallies. I put a 11,000 on mine before finding a deal on a late model 2021 Spyder RTL. Just rode the Spyder from San Diego California to Rogersville Tennessee. Through 113 degree temperature at one point and rain the size of half dollars in buckets. I Love my Spyder. No issues experienced from point A to point B. Comfort, Power, Storage, I learned with the Ryker I needed the Spyder. Thank You for an Outstanding video.
I’ve owned a RS S, 2020 Ryker 900, and 2021 F3 (That I just did a $21,000 Build to) I did enjoy the Zippy LOW center of gravity feel of my Ryker…If I could only choose one then F3 with its SPORTY Look, Feel and Ride would be my TOP Choice. I believe it’s all a matter of PERSONAL preference, Ride Style and Budget.
This is like comparing Toyota with Lexus. They're both amazing vehicles, but available at different price points. One has expensive maintenance and parts as compared to the other.
newbe, was trying to purchase a ryker base 600, they are impossible to get, and the one who actually have some inventory are asking 14 to 15,000 for them.

There is a couple 22 Ryker rallies with less than 1k miles on them for under 10k in my area. Seriously thinking about one.
The styling on a ryker is just better to me

Love the spyder but not the price. I got the 22 Ryker Rally
I got spyder rt limited so both my wife and I can ride in comfort and not looking to racing around like a mad man.
I like them both. The Ryker is amazing but I love the f series as well
I want a F3 Ltd s. My plans would be for light touring.
I always see the Ryker as the nakedbike under the Can-Am brand. And the Spider is more like a Honda Goldwingisch ride. It's what you like or prefer
Can the Can am Ryker Rally be driven out of town ? Let's say from Detroit to Cleveland?
F3 for sport, RT for cruising, Ryker for play
I Really Want The F3 Limited
can you fit a passenger on the Ryker?
Yes you can ride 2 -UP
I like the price of the Ryker, better.
My name is Ryker 🤯
The Ryker for me as it's shaft drive not belt.
I wish they would have made a 1000cc or 1100cc Ryker... That would have been all she wrote!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
judging by all the videos and the complaints neither
Have Spyder RT ltd think it's Great
The used spiders is just as much as the used rykers
time for 8 speed trans
You basically just read the brochures, anyone can do this, why not use riding impressions and real life usage
Ryker more fun and cheaper. Spyder better for touring. Rewaco better than both.
Comparing a Ryker with any Spyder is just ridiculous and a nonsense. Both models are made for way different purposes and public.
That's why he is comparing the the two so people can learn the differences and decide which one they might want.
