I'm a YFU Japan and I spoke zero japanese before going there and I survived :) Also YFU is a great organization, I highly recommend it they do take students with average gradesI think they care more about what you do in your free time and how much you care about learning about a new culture and if you are easy person to get along with. its more personal than academic in my opinion...TRY IT! its worth trying :) I didn't expect to get in & i even got a full scholarship. let me know if u have q's

im going too in august. do i have any chance learning german till then? i mean... i dont know it at all. but it will be hard at school and stuff?...
