Doing a disconnect reconnect course and am shocked at how complicated to find a simple answer is so difficult to find. Your video helped me break it up easier but seriously why is it soooooo criptic. Anyway thanks for the video. PLEASE MAKE MORE.

I'm an electrical engineering student in my final year in Australia and I just got told about the existence of the AS3000 for the first time today by my boss. He was stunned that we were never introduced to it at uni. Honestly I can't understand why we were never taught about it either-the base Australian standard for electrical installations and the next generation of Australian engineers are never even introduced to it in their training? I understand that we don't always have to wire systems up ourselves, but I would have thought that this would have been one of the first things introduced. I really do appreciate the fundamental understanding that our theoretical training provides, but to not even mention a book that pretty much summarises the national electrical standard in four years of engineering education is pretty stunning.

@@genghiskhan8721 Which uni did you go to? Also, was it a master's course? In the country you come from, is all HV work done by engineers? I agree that Engineers Aus hasn't been able to do much for the profession in Australia - which is a bit sad.

My house i rent it in Melbourne and does have an old electrical installation, it has old fuses that screw in, but everything works fine... will I need to change these?
