I am sorry to say, but it will not help. This is no solution. First of all. Like you mentioned before, all your neighbours built their houses with massive corruption. They should never be there but this is the reality in Ghana everywhere. You have no chance on a long-distance view then to drain your whole house. Of course your neighbours won't help (sorry but that is the reality in Ghana). The water must be drained away from the house there is no other way. It might even be possible that you have to put your house foundation on pillars. Otherwise, it will start sinking if the water impact is too strong. I have seen that with my own eyes.

But of course we have similar problems in Europe. But there we have very restrictive rules which are seriously controlled while here most people don't care much or build against netter knowledge. My own masons tell me often about it. I found my knowledge entering "building in Ghana" or "Ghana building in waterlogged areas" into the browser, and a lot of info is coming up. Some are very serious and educative, publishing their phone number, and can so be contacted. If I find one, I will try to add one later.
