Everyone reacts to their storm in different ways. Some get determined and do everything to overcome while others just crawl in bed and try to forget life, waiting for the storm to pass. Pray for them. Change happens within the heart. Let God change them from the inside out. If a person chooses to change in order to please another person it probably won't last. The best thing you can do is to let all your actions and words be done with love. Speak words of encouragement in order to build them up. Once words are spoken they can't be taken back so watch what you speak. Don't take offense by what they say or do, for this can lead to bitterness and unforgivness in your own heart. If you are speaking of your husband, try to remember that not all men had a good father figure. He may have low self esteem due to either trying to please his earthly father figure but being unable to do so, or of never having a father figure to learn from at all Things from the past can greatly affect a persons adult life. It's hard to be strong if you were not taught how or we're constantly put down by the adult you look up to and love. I understand that you need a strong man to lean on but he may need to learn how to lean on our father in Heaven in order to become the man that God intended. Until then, learn to lean on Father God for your strength. Here's a metaphor to think about. If we were to lean constantly on a tree is immature and weak, we are most likely eventually break it. But if we respect and honor the tree, speak kind words, feeding it small amounts of food daily until it is able to handle more, it will grow and become like a mighty oak. You plant the word and let God do the watering. Let the tree know that you love it in the good times and the bad. The tree may need to lean on you for awhile but God will give you the strength you need. Bring all your concerns to God about the tree and don't take it out on the tree itself. That would just make the tree feel worse about its situation and may make it see no hope at all and give up. Edify it with encouragement and watch the tree become stronger by the day. God is strong enough for both of you to lean on. I will pray for your situation for I know God can do the impossible.

I'm in the middle of a storm where my family is going thru some difficult health issues; MS for two of my nephew's (they're brothers), they now have Covid. I’m going through a storm right now after 10 years in a career I was fired because of a slip up I had where I should have just turned the other cheek. However, gods plans are for peace and not disaster, this is his plan for me regardless of how it happened he strengthens me always
I needed this I’m going through a bad storm and I prayed and said god I trust in you I know your in control and will not lead me to being destroyed but will bring me out then I found this video and this is so encouraging thank you Jesus for building me in this storm and thank you for what you will do to get me through it and thank you Jesus for your promises I’m feeling tears watching this video and I feel such peace knowing you are with me in this storm help me lord to continue to press in to you and to continue to trust you in this storms I will praise your name rain or shine thank you Jesus because you are the beginning and the end I shall have rest in you thank you Jesus anyone reading this I want to encourage you press into God through your storm he hasnt left me and he promised not to leave you so anyone reading this lord I pray you bless them in their storm and strengthen us to over come the storm in Jesus name amen
