There was I thinking, but doesn't the blurb module already have a button? Then I realised I was getting mixed up with the call to action module. Thank you for this! Very handy indeed.
Go to the Blurb Settings > Content > Visual tab. Mouse over and Select the hyperlink text you assigned as the button, then select the center alignment icon(within the visual tab) 👍
This is for everyone reading comments. In case you want to know how to further style the button. Nelson pointed me to where I can find code. This is what you can paste in to style the button into the css for the page css at the bottom of the code for the button. Also if you want a different style for each blurb just number them 1 2 3 etc on the text section of the module where you have the "class". here is and example of code for styling the button for font family, colour, font size and shadow: box-shadow:4px 4px 6px rgba(0,0,0,0.39); font-family:mysteryquest-reg-up; font-size:22px; text-shadow: 1px 4px 6px rgba(0,0,0,0.37); } for a background image insert into the code on the page css: background-image: (url); For those who don't know you can google colour hex numbers and you can find a page to choose colours and copy paste the hex code. sometimes the little colour button disappears in the code. if it's there you can just click on it and move the slider to chose a colour.
Hey! I know this video is 3 years old, but maybe I'll get lucky! I want to know if there's a way to make the buttons line up at the bottom equally? If someone can point me to a resource, that would be incredible! Thank you.
why in the world would Divi not give an option to have a button in the blurb module? This is the type of thing that frustrates so many people when dealing with Divi.
@@PeeAyeCreative that's absurd. There should be an option in a blurb module to add a button. That is basic common sense. Yes, like you said in your video, adding a button is something many people want to do in the blurb module. Although I am a fan of Divi, they make things difficult in so many ways that other page builders do not make difficult. Hopefully after Divi 5 is ready for full production sites Divi starts to make improvements that make sense. And adding the option to add a button to a blurb should be one of them. Although your method works, and it is appreciated, to jump through those hurdles when totally not needed is laughable. Divi needs to wake up.
Great stuff Nelson. I'm still surprised that buttons aren't standard options for just about every module.
I guess the idea is to combine modules, and that usually works, but sometimes this is nice.
Great job, concise and useful, as usual....
Glad you liked them!
Great Tutorial as usual Nelson. Thank You
Thanks, glad you like it 😊

for a background image insert into the code on the page css:
background-image: (url);

Thanks for sharing!
@@PeeAyeCreative why does the colour button sometimes disappear in the css code area?

Great tutorial 👍🏻 How to show related articles in blog module in theme builder for designed for post.
Just use the Blog module, it does that already with dynamic content turned on.
Thank you. How can I insert a line for font boldness?
I'm not sure what you mean?
@@PeeAyeCreative I figured it out. It's font-weight: bold; -- thanks

Maybe because it's not a button module? There is a CTA module.
