    Did you try using more then one device at once to tell if it will have signal conflict for the receivers ?

    How often you need to change the batteries? Its bummer it resets the setting every time you do that.

    Hi, thanks for the Video. Got my one set up & all seems to work well. But one small problem is i keep loosing the signal. Everything is still showing ok except the signal icon. Now, if i press the tank button for 5-6 seconds it ill comes back. Then after a few minuets it disappears. Do you have this with yours ??.I am thinking its a battery saving part of the unit.

      I had that problem of loosing connection too. I have several smart home components like smart bulbs and smart a/c controls, gate opener. They tend to connect to 2400Mhz wireless, not my 5.0KmHz. This device also seems to use 2400mHz frequency.
      It eventually regains connectivity. It just takes some time.

    I installed it but it doenst seem to recieve anny signal? I even placed the reciever and sender next to eachother. How did you 'connect' them?

    • @RVerJerry
      @RVerJerry  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The connecting is automatic. If it doesn't connect return it.

      Make sure there is no solid items under the sensor also keep more distance from the edges

    Bit of a useless review if you don't show the mounting of the transducer... is it necessary to cut a hole in the tank?

    • @RVerJerry
      @RVerJerry  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you have to cut a hole in the tank. It needs a clear and straight path to the water. It also needs to be 1/2 meter from the water.

    • @lanz637
      @lanz637 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree.
      It would have been useful to give details on mounting it.
      I used a regular hole-saw attachment on a power drill to create a hole on a level accessory port on the top of my tank and screwed it in with the screws provided (a large bird tried to remove it before I could secure it to the top of the tank) using a small circular rubber sheet as a seal to close the small gap between the sides of the hole.
      For my tank with a sloping lid, I drilled the hole in the center of the lid.
      I'm considering using a PVC adapter and a short piece of tubing to raise the sensor away from the water level as the specifications require 05 meters (1'6") gap from sensor to water.
      So far it appears to work with only an 8" gap.
      I suppose that if your tank is large enough and has enough space to mount the transmitter on inside that you can install a bracket. But this seems a bit tricky to me.

      I agree. This was of no help whatsoever. 17 minutes of someone who doesn't know what they're doing. Leave it to the experts fella.

    Avoid. Humidity in tank kills the ultra sensor.

      That makes zero sense that humidity in a water tank level sensor would be an issue. It was (hopefully) designed to be used in a tank which by default is as humid an environment as possible. I very much doubt that humidity kills it. It seems to work for me.
