2024 and still left simply shaking my head speechless at how Freddie imagined and composed then arranged these lyrics with the music. 2 billion streams !! Little doubt this is the greatest song in rock history.
Amazing fact about Queens' lead guitarist Brian May. He was actually working on getting his Ph.D in astrophysics when Queen was formed. Music meant so much to him so he put his doctorate on the back burner. After Freddie Mercury died, Queen disbanded. Even while still part of the group Brian and his father designed and built a new kind of guitar. Brian's IQ has been measured in the 160's. That's even beyond Big Bang Theory smart. So he was a real genius on top of being a musical genius. after Queen disbanded, Brian went back to working toward his doctorate. He finally got it in 2006 or 7. He's now Dr. Brian May Ph.D. He's also written about 6 books on the subject of astrophysics. He's even worked with NASA periodically.
I just love to see people listening/watching Queen doing Bohemian Rhapsody for the first time! I think it left Mel pert near speechless here! I could tell that you both were sorta stunned all the way through! It's one of the 20th century's most favoritest (!?) songs! However, I'd be willing to bet that you know more of Queen's music than you thought you did. Check out We are the Champions, We Will Rock You and Another One Bites the Dust next, please! Anyhoo, I'm so glad that you enjoyed this gem. I would suggest you listen to it several more times because you can't have gotten it all in just one listen. Great job, guys! 🇺🇸😂😁💓
So theatrical! DAAAMN! I'm telling you, Freddie should have done theatre! I've loved this song ever since I can remember and will always love it! No other song like this! I guarantee it 💯 What a voice Freddie had. Such a theatrical piece! I've been listening to this all my life and it always blows me away! In my late 40's now... Queen rocks! RIP Freddie 🕺🏻🌹❤
Bohemian Rhapsody is by far the best loved, most recorded, copycatted song ever. I was born in 1959 and have experienced the best music of a lifetime...couldn't ask for more. THIS is the stand out song.
Great reaction! I highly suggest you watch We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions! Also Queen is the best live band in history! If you want to watch something live that will shock and delight you, watch Somebody To Love, live at 1981 Montreal Concert! Absolutely amazing!
Jump down the rabbit hole 🕳 you’ll be shocked/ amazed/ & totally blown away, Queen live is always so joyful, this video was the first music video years before MTV, live at the rainbow 🌈, hammer smith odeon, live in Hyde park free concert, many all over the world really, Queen in the 70’s is worth it so you can see them grow, Freddie always had a way about him and it’s good to see how he grew, all of them are super human to be able to sing/ write/ they were all so talented in their own right but they knew that together they were magic, no other band had had no 1 written by each member, Queen are a gift from God, RIP Freddie light & love from Australia 🇦🇺
You have never heard of the greatest band that ever was also the greatest singer and showman of all time Freddie Mercury, well you must be living on Mars or some planet billions of miles away from Earth. Freddie Mercury and Queen are the most known band and singer since 1970. I have been a fan of Queen and Freddie Mercury since 1974 when I was 10 years old and have been a fan for 46 years. Here in the the UK they and Freddie Mercury are still national treasures who are still loved today by hundreds of millions of fans worldwide and even though our beloved Freddie Mercury died in 1991 of Aids he is still loved not only by the rest of the world, but by his fellow British citizens who will never let him be forgotten. Queen’s music has permeated our culture but amazing so many people do not know the songs were by Queen. Just about everyone who watches sports knows the songs “We Are the Champions” and “We Will Rock You”, both written and performed by Queen. There have been numerous TV commercials featuring Queen music. Just recent America’s Got Talent uses Queen music in the background when the judges provide critiques to the performers. One MUST do Queen performance is their live version of “Somebody To Love” in Montreal 1981. The lead singer Freddie Mercury was on fire 🔥 🔥🔥🔥 and the drummer Roger Taylor was amazing with his backing vocals. More on the band later, just start on their catalog and you will not be disappointed.
Somebody to Love live at Montreal 1981. Live Hammersmith Odeon 1975 White Queen. Live at the Rainbow Stone Cold Crazy and In The Lap of the Gods (and revisited). Wembley 1986 anything (esp. Who Wants to Live Forever, Lap of the Gods, Under Pressure, It's a Kind Of Magic, Another One Bites the Dust) you have a lot more to enjoy ❤️Freddie❤️
I love watching people discover one of the greatest rock bands of all time. Their catalog is huge and amazingly varied. Their live performances are outstanding. Please react to Somebody to Love, live Montreal 85. One of THE best. Welcome to Queen 💜
A positive diagnosis for what? Freddie wrote this song in 1975, there was no such thing as AIDS yet. He didn't learn of his illness until sometime in the 80s. Listen to Days Of Our Lives, that's more in tune with the fact that he knew he didn't have much time left.
An absolute musical masterpiece of performance and construction from this epic British rock band. l loved your reaction l could see your brains slowly exploding in your heads........:-)
Imagine, it is almost Christmas 1975, I am sitting in front of the TV and hear and see this for the first time. Now you know why I've been a Queen fan ever since. Freddie was the best front man of any band ever.
No one sings this song better then Queen. One of the best songs of all time. One of my top five, I also love Gotye Somebody I use to know, and the Animals House of the Rising Sun.

Alright, I like to watch Bohemian Rhapsody reactions when I'm bored, because they always make me feel good and only the best reactors get the following message, (I've watched your video twice, so Contrazz) Here in The Netherlands a certain radio station will play the top 2000 songs of all time around Christmas and everybody gets to vote for their favorite song and Bohemian Rhapsody has been the best song 18 out of the last 20 years. Every now and then Hotel California from the Eagles makes it to first place but even then Bohemian Rhapsody is second. So according to the Dutch this is the best song of all time! Thank you for making a great reaction video for it! ps. Shawn knows what I'm talking about. He went really went there!
One of the best bands ever to come out of the Uk. The lead singer Freddie Mercury died in 1991 but the band is still together and the lead singer now is the American singer Adam Lambert who does a pretty good job. Freddie Mercury was a musical genius and a quality entertainer. If you get a chance check out the film that came out recently called Bohemian Rhapsody it won loads of Oscars well worth watching. Check out a couple of Queen songs It's a Kind of Magic and another one bites the dust.
Another awesome video is 1985's Live Aid when Queen does 20+minutes set. They weren't suppose to be on Live Aid in London, but organizers added them at last minute to the lineup.
remember walking to school in the 70s when this was number 1 in the uk charts for what seemed like a year. so different from what was in the charts at the time, amazing.
Oooohhh yall going down the Queen memory lane now ?❤️❤️❤️ you guys are in for a ride🙌🏽 I grew up in Oakland, Calif. listened to nothing but hip hop rap r&b , spanish music as I got older I started listening to other stuff such as this, Elvis, KISS, Player. Its a beautiful thing to discover other music than what you grew up to. I love Queens "Radio Gaga" Try the live version at Live Aid concert and "somebody to love" live 🙏🏼🙌🏽❤️❤️❤️
One of the things a lot of people don’t know is that Freddie could also sing opera, he had such an amazing vocal range, he was also a fashion designer, many of the costumes they wore were designed by Freddie. He had so many talents it was unbelievable.
A little bit of trivia... Their label didn't want them releasing Bohemian Rhapsody because they said it was too long of a song and the radios wouldn't play it and nobody would like it. Freddie Mercury pretty much told them to go to hell, fired them, released the song and it became one of the most famous songs of all time! 🤣 🤘🤘
Queen Live - Aid best performance ever - they play their hits and when they got done , other performers didn't know how to Top what they did - please check out 1985 😎
First time I payed attention to this was from Wayne's world. Oh queen has so many great songs. The lead Freddie Mercury wrote and performed a song he wrote as a tribute to Elvis called crazy little thing called love. In it he does his best Elvis impersonation. It's a song he felt Elvis would sing back in his rockabilly days. Queen does so so so many iconic songs. Explore them. You won't be sorry
You've stumbled upon possibly the greatest voice in the history of rock and roll. In one of the greatest bands in the history of rock and roll, or any genre of music for that matter.
@@trumanupchurch364 Dude, I know more about Elvis Presley than probably any other person that's ever walked this Earth. I'm a huge Elvis fan. He had a great voice and started it all, but Freddie Mercury is on a whole other level vocally.

Under Pressure live at Wembley 1986, White Queen live at the Hammersmith Odeon, and their Stint on the Live Aid concert in 1985 are highly worth a review.
Saw ur channel when u were reacting to Queen and Mel was saying she had never heard Queen. So I watched and enjoyed ur reactions very much. U 2 love birds should react to Love of My Life, live Wembley n You Take My Breath Away, studio version. I'm looking forward to watching your reactions to these songs. Than u in advance. Stay safe.✌
Your Queen journey has begun :D A few highly recommended performances (if you haven't already done so): 1985 Live Aid Queen (at Wembley), 1981 Live at Montreal - Somebody to Love... and other Queen members performances including (Roger Taylor on vocals and drums) - "I'm in Love with My Car" (from Montreal 1981) :D Plus soooo many others! You won't be disappointed! Oh, and "White Queen" at Hammersmith Odeon 1975 :D Not to be missed!! Thanks Angela K. for the reminder on that one! :)
More Queen? Depends what your looking for. If you want hard rocking Queen try 'Stone Cold Crazy' @ the Rainbow, gospel influenced - 'Somebody to Love' from Montreal '81. The thing with Queen was they never stuck to one genre, there's rock, gospel, ballards, jazz, blues even some vaudeville pastiche, and all done perfectly.
This song is famous in the UK, and we all know the words, at a Green Day concert, this was playing before the band came on stage, the whole crowd started to sing it, there’s video, it’s awesome, Freddie lives on xx
Hey Joyce Has Opinions, thank you so much for watching. Angelina is absolutely amazing. Are you a content creator? If so I will support your channel ❤️😀

Hey ClassicWorld19, thank you so much for your recommendations💜💜😀

Welcome to Queen and beloved Freddie
Im here Fam! Love yall!!
I suggest you to go for the studio version First, then the live one.
Freddie Mercury doesn't like to creating the same genres of music.. that why Queen never stuck in one genres
Green day crowd sang this amazingly by themselves, hyde park 2017, how to keep a dead star shining!
Hey Tee Trotter, I’m going to check it out. Thank you
This song is famous in the UK, and we all know the words, at a Green Day concert, this was playing before the band came on stage, the whole crowd started to sing it, there’s video, it’s awesome, Freddie lives on xx
Thank you for reacting to Bohemian Rhapsody.... is so fun to watch the surprise and awe on first-time listeners. 💕

There was only ever 1 Freddie and never, ever to be copied, imitated, reproduced or emulated! R.I.P. Mr Bad Guy 💔

Check out Queen's crazy little thing called love, it's their tribute to Elvis.
You gotta react to queen under pressure at live aid. They had 80 thousand people in the palm of their hands 👌👍
They didn't preform Under Pressure at Live Aid. You're thinking of their '86 Wembley Show.
