He was just helping those humanids get their insurance and education stipends to their families in the hive. Only in death does one have access to Imperial Employee Benefits.
Fun fact, the tyranids guns are also alive. Those termagants were shooting you with flesh borers, which shoot beetles....well sort of they rip the shell off the beetle then shock the piss out of them then launch them at you so when they hit theyre desperate to burrow inside you to take shelter.
Even more fun fact: you don't just defeat tyranids in battle. They spread their spores everywhere and even when you kill every last one on the planet, they'll just respawn after a while. One tyranid on your planet is enough to justify an exterminatus.

It is easy tho. Maybe not for him, but this game is not skill check. Btw I think that is a good thing. This type of game don't need niche auddience and niche gameplay. It's just fun hack and slash 3rd person game, that reminds us of "good old days"
It feels like the model figurines come to life, they did an amazing job on this game. Not trying to make fun of it, not trying to minimize the stakes, taking it deathly serious.
For strategic value "absolute" I would expect another primarch in stasis or some shit, not some goofy research facility But I haven't played through the game yet, perhaps Project Aurora is as terrifying as the Celestial Orrery
@@ExceedProduction a lot of tech, like many titan models, can't be made anymore in 40k because the blueprints have been lost due to many different reasons. Imperium will go to a great lengths to recover titans, as example. Any facility able to create any tech that is very important to the imperium and not easily, or at all replaced if destroyed, has absolute level of strategic value.
For those the asked the question: "A Black Shield" is a Deathwatch Operative that has entered service without presenting their chapter. it is a position for those that have been accused of heresy, or even member of chaos chapter, or Chapters declared by the inquisition as being heretical. Yes, you heard that right, even fallen legionaries that have repented their heresy have joined with the deathwatch, most of them remain in service as they have no chapter to return too. It is a road to redemption for those that have no other solution.
What I absolutely love about Warhammer 40k is how insane the design for the Imperial Navy ships is. It's a flying giant cathedral with one open space that can be depressurized by a single hole in the hull. Strategic-wise, it's a catastrophic design failure. Look-wise, it's just about the most badass thing ever.

Space marine 1 intro referenced in a way with the "strategic value ABSOLUTE". In the first game, there was a suggestion for EXTERMINATUS (total annihilation of planetary surface), but was denied due to "STRATEGIC VALUE, ABSOLUTE". I love this! FOR THE EMPEROR!
It adds a lot of "oomph" to the analysis because you go like "oh shit" Alas, they can't pull this trick too often or it will become boring "If everything is absolute, nothing is"
The game is terrifyingly brutal. Most lore accurate depiction yet of Tyranids, since Guardsman don't live longer than 30 seconds and even Space Marines struggle against the horrors of the Tyranids. Orks got nothing on nids in comparison of combat strength. Warriors are are almost as strong as you are... as a Space Marine! Zoanthropes are a genuine threat if you don't take them out ASAP. Lictors and Hive Tyrants are actual boss fights, fantastic on all levels. Co-op requires you to have space marine levels of teamwork on harder difficulties. Unlike the first game which was for the most part a power fantasy where you just mowed down Orks like they were nothing - because yeah they're Orks, they're only a challenge for regular Imperial Guardsman, with the only threat being Chaos Space Marines and deamons in the last couple of missions of the game; In Space Marine 2, you're facing things which can take out a Space Marine with little effort out the gate, it actually requires skill to succeed.
Orks conquered Terra in the 34th millennium. It took all the sons of Dorn reforming the 7th legion to repel them. Orks are absolutely a threat. People forget how nasty they are because they are comic relief. Titus and the Blue boys are lucky they have never encountered a Primeork.
Nobs and Warbosses are definitely a true challenge. But save for the toughest warbosses nothing they have on foot can challenge a hive tyrant. Which tyranids can field on repeat. That said Orks have the "shenanigans " factor with such lovely moves as "is that moon moving towards us?... and wait... is it smiling!?"
the most important part of tyranids is missing so cant really call them lore accurate there is no cooperation while your doing the fancy finisher animation on a hormagaunt your completely immortal for the entire thing but one of the main purposes of a hormagaunt vs a marine is distraction, its just a flashbang with teeth, to keep you standing while the venomcannon takes your head off the immortality during finishers is a massive step back from the first game also warriors getting killed causing the death of surrounding nids is just dumb, but if you dont have coordinated cooperation to take away you cant really show the loss of synapse

You are failing to understand that it means the over the shoulder coop combat. First Gears of War came out in 2006, and the first WH game with similar gameplay came out 5 years later in 2011. Or did you strap an old film camera on top of your tabletop character and imagine playing a 3rd person shooter?
Gears is a cover based corridor shooter. This is a third person/horde shooter with some hack and slash elements and class based progression. The over the shoulder camera and aiming is a surface level similarity. People see big dudes and big guns and think gears lol.
With the depth of lore. They could make so many great games out of it like this. Custodes, Primarchs, different home worlds/ factions, campaigns. Nearly endless badass content.
But it would require learning about the lore, putting some actual effort, being true to the sources etc. that is a bizarre concept for many devs you know.
I love how in the intro the Death Squad consists one of each badass chapter. Ultramarine, Dark Angel, Angel Encarmine or Blood Angel, Templar, and Space Wolf.
Hence, based Games succeed with flying Numbers these Days - while woke Games like Concord silently get Headshots behind a Shed and tossed into nameless Graves. 😂🤣😂
So for the benefit for newbies to the Space Marine franchise; You need to know how to balance melee and ranged. The new parrry/ Gunstrike system is a bit clunky, but you WILL run out of ammo if you just keep shooting. Know when you should be shooting, and at what, and you’ll be able to mitigate the issue long enough to find more.
Gotta commend the artwork. It looks just like painted miniatures, like very well-done miniatures. The lighting and sound are great. It doesn't seem to slow down from swarms of mobs at all. One gripe is the lack of enemy models and even boss models. Also it seems they opted for black-box weapons that can't be "leveled up." That makes it more moba and less mmo. Maybe on the next game they'll have both styles to choose from. This title might draw the $70 customer easier than we think, from the artwork and transmogging alone.
This game has quite high skill cap to play good. Imagine this is only normal difficulty. There is 2 more higher and later will add 1 more higher. Here's some tips: 1. CHANGE your weapon back to gun&combat weapons(secondary) before engaging because you can not use gun strike if you still holding the bolt rifle(Still figure it out) 2. Practice parry more often even without the blue indicator rather continuously dodging backward. That won't work. 3. REMEMBER heavy attack+gun strike instant kill combo on small enemy can recover your armor. 3. Perfectly dodge or parry on stronger enemy and gun shot them for big damage rather keep normal attack. (Clean some smaller mobs first before doing this. This is not execute, no invincible time) 4. Try to use the right attack combo!!! The light+light+heavy sometimes can get you out a little bit more bad situation. 5. You cannot purely focus only parry or dodge. You have to use both equally. Usually parry right after dodge in a swarm can get you some perfect parry. 6. Do NOT try to get out of a swarms by keep dodging backward!! Face it!
9:14 really funny he didn't realized he did 3 different kinds of heavy attacks, the stomp the shoulder charge and the kick during the fighting before that point.

playing the easiest difficulty in this game feels like playing lore-accurate ultramarines, playing the highest difficulty in this game feels like playing as a helldiver instead of a space marine, as in you die in 3 hits with no stims and you tickle your enemies, JUST like in helldivers!

40:00 so basically space marine physiology makes it so they can wolverine their way through shit that would kill a normal human. Having two hearts is part of that
2 hearts, 3 lungs an extra kidney, a hardened exoplate over their sternum, a black carapace allowing for direct neurological interface to their power armour, a gland to spit literal acid, a gland that allows them to shut off portions of the brain, thus allowing them to stay awake for weeks at a time, progonoid glands allowing their genes to be passed to 2 future marines in the event of their death and even after all that, we're barely scratching the surface... 😮
A great strategy is needed to survive this game, and the strategy that I came up is to run and hit. Don't rush on a group of Tyranids. Just move backwards faster and waiting for one or two Tyranids that will approach you faster than the rest and block their attacks and hit them. The ideal goal is to one on one with Tyranids and kill them faster since other Tyranids will approach you immediately. Rushing in swarm of Tyranids is a suicide. What I love about this game is you have to use your brain to survive this game. This is just one strategy I came up. Maybe their are other strategy that are more effective than mine since there are many varieties of skills in Warhammer. Also just save your bullets in range enemies and only use melee in melee enemies since that ammo is limited.

Isn't it the other way around for the first two? For casual gamers its amazing cuz they just go do stuff and it looks good you chop shit up and the content is difficult enough already for them to feel engaged and not get burnt out on it and for hardcores its like great but not amazing because they are way more used to games with difficulty so the repetitiveness catches up when they lock in with the mechanics and start destroying things? I always thought casuals had way more fun with most story games because they are easier to keep engaged and interested and are less critical of mechanics.

@@andrewboyer7544 True, but nids are still way worse.
Nobs and Warbosses are definitely a true challenge. But save for the toughest warbosses nothing they have on foot can challenge a hive tyrant. Which tyranids can field on repeat.

First Gears of War came out in 2006, and the first WH game with similar gameplay came out 5 years later in 2011.
Or did you strap an old film camera on top of your tabletop character and imagine playing a 3rd person shooter?
@@tl2402to be fair gears of war was inspired by Warhammer 40K
Well 20 years before, if you are specifically talking 40k. As clarified though, obviously it wasn't a shooter all those years ago.....
Gears is a cover based corridor shooter. This is a third person/horde shooter with some hack and slash elements and class based progression. The over the shoulder camera and aiming is a surface level similarity. People see big dudes and big guns and think gears lol.
Well gears did it first with the gameplay
With the depth of lore. They could make so many great games out of it like this. Custodes, Primarchs, different home worlds/ factions, campaigns. Nearly endless badass content.
This!
No sacrifice is too great.
No treachery is too small.
Hence, based Games succeed with flying Numbers these Days - while woke Games like Concord silently get Headshots behind a Shed and tossed into nameless Graves. 😂🤣😂
So for the benefit for newbies to the Space Marine franchise;
You need to know how to balance melee and ranged. The new parrry/ Gunstrike system is a bit clunky, but you WILL run out of ammo if you just keep shooting. Know when you should be shooting, and at what, and you’ll be able to mitigate the issue long enough to find more.
Or just look for ammo...
Or you could just melee....
there is a lot of ammo in the maps...
And you can melee too...
You never run out of melee 😂
Here's some tips:
1. CHANGE your weapon back to gun&combat weapons(secondary) before engaging because you can not use gun strike if you still holding the bolt rifle(Still figure it out)
This is not execute, no invincible time)
Face it!
He said in the video that he is playing on hard mode when he was hiding from the spitters to recover armor early on
When I get swarmed I just go full tweaker mode and dodge continuously while tapping the parry button. Works better than you'd expect lmao 😂

I dont think melee "in this game is rough" so much as you need to be far more aggressive with your melee weapon.

It's a bit too expensive for how much content there is, 45/50 would have been better
wdym not enough content? If you level 25 all the pve classes and also reach level 25 in pvp it takes a hundred hours at least.
I hope to God they continue to support and develop this game for the next 5+ year's
This game will dry out quick
@@BloodFireDeath_ let's see how the PVP and co-op is and how fast they can pump content out.
I'll come back to this a year from today
@@BloodFireDeath_ The studio handling warhammer games usually give lasting support for their games.
Vermintide 2 has been out for years and is still getting updates despite a successor in dark tide existing.
@@BloodFireDeath_ yup. thats how most warhammer games go.
vermintide 2 is still being updated because they havent made anything better, darktide was a flop.
@@Sercer25FartShart has a track record of their games being dogass years into their "release", but cope abusers would tell you otherwise
"I'm dead" as he runs away instead of attacking which regains health and armour.
Story Spoilers*****: Reason why Titus served in the Deathwatch.
Leandros from the previous game accused Titus of heresy when Titus wasn't affected by Chaos. The inquisition "punished" Titus by making him serve in the Deathwatch to watch him and to find any stain on him. Titus at the end of the second game finds out that the chaplain is Leandros and Leandros is mad about Titus not being corrupt after all that he's been through. That is why the chaplain is constantly reminding Titus if he even falters he will punish Titus to the umpteenth degree. They got beef.
Asmon is like Neo from the Matrix. takes him a whole ass movie to figure shit out, before "he's starting to believe" moment

A real melee weapon? The 3 guys who discovered how to make your combat blade were each given planets to rule as a reward!
Gotta love those standard template constructs. wild ass concepts
monomolecular blades > chainswords
Faaaacts im a big combat blade enjoyer in lore and game@@SovereignThrone
@@silkyjohnson4208 Power blades still outright break while also blunting chainswords or just cut straight through combat blades, Thunder hammers is where the real thing is I remember there was an ultramarine I think doing a last stand against traitor Nurgle Chaos marines, he fought till the hammer itself fucking died out and his enemies got so impressed by his bravery he was given a mercy of the enemies not corrupting the gene seed he was protecting, just burning it.

Wasn't on my radar, but looks great. Will look for it in a future Steam sale as too much to finish already.
Warhammer games go on sale all the time. Boltgun has been 30% off at least twice and rogue trade hit 50% off at least once.

I actually haven't seen many people complain about this game yet. Thats got to be a record
Asmon the type of dude who would rather spend 5 hours frustrated and unaware of how to play a game than spend an extra 5 seconds reading/understanding the words in a tutorial message. Might be the worst case of ADHD I've ever seen in my life.
To be fair, it's more fun to figure it out
All he has to do is hit tab to see the melee combos but he refuses to learn if he can’t figure it out in the first couple minutes
I love this game so much. It was everything I've wanted since finishing Space Marine 1. I even distinctly remember saying "The next one has to have Tyranids."
