There are only a few large hypermarkets such as this one in Belgium. I hate blister packaging. Either the model is stuck forever in its blister or you open the packaging and reduce its value considerably.
For Christmas I asked for a Solido 1/18 Mercedes-Benz CLA 250 in red. I oder a Mercedes AMG Formula One car 1/43 , I’m going to use it for my Christmas tree ornament.
Compared to Portugal, you have a good hunting ground for diecast models. Here it's so poor in terms of toys and especially diecast models in stores like Continente (the equivalent of Cora) of Toys r'Us.
every month there's a collector's fair in Woluwe Shopping near Brussels. Hotwheels are sold at very high prices there, I suspect the sellers get their loot from the Cora and other supermarkets around Brussels, which explains why one quite often comes second. I don't believe there's a vast collector community here, especially as most shops don't stock up a lot, nor often.
At this exact spot where you are hunting for diecasts many years ago I went for a walk with my uncle's dog. The place was largely unbuilt, you had the railway line, the ugly towerbuildings and the Vogelzang suburb - final address of many Anderlechtenaars - already existed. But no Cora, Decathlon or any other shop or metro line (station Eddy Merckx). The "Ring" was probably still under construction. Long ago.
@@flitsertheo Ah ok, good to know 😊 Also very interesting, that it is called Sinterclaas. Here in Germany it is called Sankt Nikolaus, or Nikolaustag 😊 And we would translate it as St. Niclas Day 😅
Super cool dude ✌️

SOLIDO is the best in 1/18 scale, WHITEBOX in 1/24 scale...

Prices are quite high for a supermarket. 2,99 for (old) mainlines is at least 1 euro too high.

The price of a premium hw on a European diecast event is between €10 and €25.
And yes that is expensive.
Still have to visit Woluwe
