Yes shark are more active at night but once we see them right away point the torch out directly to their eyes, sharks does not like LED being hit on their eyes, it blinds them and annoying to them. One more thing if any presence of sharks don't ever shot a fish, vibration of struggling fish turn them out into demon and that's completely dangerous. never afraid of any sharks too, vibration of your heart would be a bad trigger for shark attack.
