From my experience it's fun to shoot guns at a range. I would never ever want to shoot at a living target though. Also the AR 15 has really low recoil, the guy shooting it was just holding it wrong. As for my favourite weapon I'd go with an AK-74 or any AK chambered in 5,45x39mm.
Yeah, I was amazed when I first shot mine; 20" A2, and it felt almost like nothing at all, was very nice. My personal favorite though is my ATI Galeo, though I'd love to get my hands on a Beryl rifle at some point.
Well the aliens are portrayed like that because there's been a lot of eyewitness reports that describe them like that.
When you are firing a gun there are actually 2 bangs the first is it actually being fired which a suppressor helps with the second is the bullet breaking the sound barrier. you can make a firearm MUCH quieter if you use subsonic ammunition in conjunction with a suppressor at the expense of slower bullet travel speed and less range.

I wouldn't say going to a range and shooting a gun is life changing. It's more if you don't understand them or are afraid of them going to a range and learning more about them really helps.

M1911 is always a classic, same with the M2 Browning, and of course the Mosin Nagant has to have an honorary position. All over a century old btw.
As far as melee: a longsword will suffice, and failing that the og fast hands are indeed the best.
I have a Mosin Nagant and a 1911, but the pistol is newer and made by Kimber. My Nagant was manufactured in the early 40s though. It’s such a fun rifle to shoot, but for a long time I didn’t have a proper butt on the stock, and it always left bruises on my shoulder.

Guns are one of Humanity's greatest inventions, but unfortunately a simple tool isn't going to make our species smarter anytime soon. Stupidity is the single greatest threat to our species.
I think guns are cool but i've never owned one. I held one once, unloaded. The weight felt deadly, just that alone gave me like a chill. Spooky, ya know. It's weird, i'm American and Floridian, you'd think i'd have more gun experience.
And Satan, but mostly stupidity. Those two work well together now that I think of it.
I remember as a kid thinking my Dad had hidden cameras to see us touching his stuff. It was just we were so bad about putting stuff back in the same place.

It is a life changing experience because you quickly realize you’ve been lied to by sneaky government people who try to say guns are bad instead of people are bad. That and it feels nice taking responsibility for your own safety.

yeah I can see that I like guns because it gives you the power to defend myself I usually keep I knife on me more practical to keep on me not gonna stop a gun but it's a little more practical and if anyone catches you with it it's just a utility knife worst case you give it up so you can catch your flight or whatever
I was in the woods smoking Doobie smax yesterday in the woods, and found an amazing stick that my husband turned into a shiv for me. Played with it for an hour, I felt badass. Even having guns at home there's just something so great about having a great stick. Had to toss it because my pup thought it was a fetch stick. And pause, how did you find an Ak just lying around. That'd freak me out too.
As long as you understand safety in handling a firearm, they can be the most fun you can have with friends and family! my family enjoys all kinds of target shooting and mag dumping, please wear good ear protection though, comfy ones too!

I think the original way of making Damascus is lost. I remember reading somewhere that what we call damascus is actually completely different from the original but don’t quote me.

I firmly believe everyone should go to a gun range at least one time and fire off at least one bullet. Even if you're against them, I think you need to know how to shoot. This world has lost its goddamn mind, and you'll never know when you might need to shoot some zombies, and it won't do any good if you don't realize that if you hold a pistol too loosely, it'll jam on you, or that you can't lock your arms but should have them slightly bent.
You don't have to use a shotgun or anything, but at least fire a pistol one time. For beginners, a 9mm pistol like a Glock 19.
General rules when not firing:
1. Do not point a gun even when it's not loaded at another person
2. Clear the chamber after use (an instructor will teach you)
3. Remember ear wear, because the shockwave of a gun going off WILL damage your ears. Even our soldiers in the field wear earwear where they can.

They lose the opportunity for parole. Even life sentences can allow prisoners out for good behavior and if they took reform programs. Unless they're sentenced to life without parole. Then they might get the death sentence if they committed an extreme enough act.

Probably an unwanted anecdote, but my dad told me about his experiences in Iraq and Afghanistan (two deployments to each, JTAC). He said that the first time he saw and smelled someone burning, the very first impression was that it smelled like burnt bacon mixed with the smell of burning of cloth and a hint of burning rubber. He said he's never forgotten it, and won't ever forget it for the rest of his life.

As someone who got their first rifle at 10 you learn that a firearm is just a hunk of metal if you fuck up and are not careful it can hurt you or someone else but that applies to many things in life like shop tools and vehicles...

Kids and candy can be an effective weapon. If you're forced into unwillingly watching people's kids for free, time it right and give the kids a lot of candy and soda. That way they have to deal with that when they get home. Of course that could backfire if they lie about how long they take. Unless you are alright with just joining in on their sugar frenzy.

I highly suggest you go to a gun range and become more comfortable with guns. In this political climate, you need to acquire the skills and practice in order to adequately defend yourself. You’re not living in an America where you can afford to be “not right” with guns…and it’s not a criticism. I also was fearful of guns. But I live in TX and I’m much better with them now. It’s a skill that I am glad to have. It’s a skill I think it’s important for YOU to have.

Favorite weapon? Tough, but I would have to say katana. Not because I'm some sad weeb or anything, but because it's light and very effective. Another reason is I do Kata and it's some of the best cardio you can do, and you get to wield a deadly weapon while doing it.

Are there aliens somewhere out in the universe? Undoubtedly. However, the chances of encountering aliens, let alone aliens that look like us, are so slim that we will almost certainly never live to meet them. At the rate our technology is going, we are going to go extinct before we encounter any alien life. For the foreseeable eons to come, we are alone, but we are alone together.

Can’t tell ya guns are always life changing but I went once with me Mum just to shoot a little hand gun(can’t remember the model) and apparently no one thought to warn me how important it is to have your hands in the right places or to check that I was doing it right. Fired once and the slide came back and knicked my thumb so now I have this probably permanent scar on my thumb so yeah. Being a millimeter off can cause injury, but apparently it could have been worse because I’ve been told if my thumb was any higher the slide could have taken it off

I believe everyone that's is able to, should shoot a gun under supervision. Top two reasons I think are that people are scared of them, and second is knowing gun etiquette (how to hold and where to aim). It's our second amendment, people should learn how to use the tool that made and protects our nation.
