Que bellos, y que inteligencia y pasión por este bello arte. Mil gracias por compartir. Me los haria en negro y mas largos y la bolita blanca, Muchas bendiciones. 🙏🙏🙏🙏💯💯💯🥰🤝🙋🏻♀️🙌🇪🇨💝😘❤❤❤🌹🌹💐
I’d make them with black thread or I would get a black marker and go over all exposed thread. They are beautiful! I’m going to have to make myself a pair....or two!
mrscalifdreamer I agree, although it looks like the finished one she compared it to was done with black thread or the thread was blackened somehow. I have seen other beading instructors use contrasting colors of thread/beads for demonstration purposes, which may be why the white/crystal was used with dark beads here. It just helps to better see the thread path, especially helpful for beginners that may not be familiar with the stitch.
I agree with everyone who responded. Many instructors use contrasting thread in order to see the thread path. I heard a tip once, though, where a person bought a variety of sharpies and colored the thread to match the beads. It's permanent marker so it shouldn't bleed.
Thanks ladies. Sometimes I forget about the contrasting colors for tutorials..reasons are obvious. Had a duh moment. As for the sharpie coloring, I’ve been doing that for decades and suggested it to turtlesoupbeads...glad to know there are others that do this too!
I’ve watched this video more than once since you posted it so long ago, and it fascinates me. I would love to know what your inspiration was for this design. Because what I see is the rattle of a rattlesnake 🐍 Do you have rattlesnakes in Canada? Because I’m in Florida and we’re cautioned about them all the time, especially at state parks. I’ve, so thankfully, have never come across one (at least none I’ve been aware of 😧)
Great tutorial, but I have a problem. Made them using the same bead sizes and Wildfire, but my did not curve as well as yours did. And they definitely don't hold the curve with the weight of the large bead. What am I doing wrong?
i've learned that the best way for me to make these earrings is a little different. first i make two tiny jump rings from a head pin and my round nose pliers. I put one through each of two 8/0 beads and close it. you need one per earring. at 2:52 on the tutorial i substitute one of these for the single 15/0. run the thread through the bead only. i make the earring according to the instructions. when i get back to the first end i sew through the 8/0 and adjoining beads to reinforce it and then end off the thread without making the loop with beads for attaching the ear wire. then i insert ear wire through the jump ring on the 8/0 for a very secure connection. as thread passes only through bead and wire only through jump ring there is no danger of thread slipping through any crevice in jump ring. these earrings are too good to lose. this sounds tedious but it goes quite fast.
Hola buenos días, pueden ser las chaquiras de tamaño parejo? Ya que aquí es disficil encontrar de varios tamaños, Porque pude apreciar que unas son más grandecitas que otras,
I have first earing. It for golden Toho, the pearl will be black. But it was hard for me. The second one will definitely be better: o) Thank You, Sonysree, for a beautiful subject! ♡ Please excuse errors in the text, Google is not omnipotent. Thank you for understanding.

How many 8/0 beads are needed? 30 ish? I’m just a beginner, and need to buy size 8/0 maybe at least 8.5g?
bora yeon You need just 36 beads...8/0 seed beads are about 38 per gram...
So You need to buy just 2 grams of 8/0 beads
Sonysree Creations Thank you much for the information! I love your uploads and learn a lot!

mrscalifdreamer maybe the crystal colour was for definition in the tutorial?
