I'm obsessed with AOT. I'm an anime fan, I watched plenty of anime but AOT is some kind of drug and I'm addicted. No other anime can become GOAT for me. Period.
Yes, because the attack on titan soundtrack doesn’t just slap, but kills. They really did the show such a great justice with these powerful and impactful songs.
I love how they used the same music for the attack on Marley as they did for the attack on Wall Maria. Everything comes full circle and you see the war from both sides. Armin inheriting the Colossal Titan and Bertholdt's memories makes it even sadder.
I love it, but Saint Seiya had an amazing OST as well, I wouldn't say one is better than the other, because it is subjective, if you have not heard about the other, go and listen to it :D, there are like 13 albums or so...

You can also say Record of Lodoss War has a nice OST but the epicness, the optimized sound and the singers! can't even catch on the quality of AoT. But i like old stuff like Saint Seiya and so on but the atmosphere from AoT is just to good. The music emphasizes the feelings of the characters, action and threats it's just so emotional. the OST is the wind beneath my wings.

I would say that they don't compare in the mood that the music brings, but they are both awesome, another thing in between would be the OST of Rurouni Kenshin OVAs, which again is incredible, but the mood of despair is totally different to the one in AOT.

Its so funny when i was 12 i watched the first part of attack on titan, when i was 14/15 i watched season 01 again and season 2. Season 3 followed when i was like 16/17 and now the final season been airing around my age as 18/19 and will likely finish just before or just after i turn 20. Which is ironic if you know you know what i mean. I basically grew up with the show. Most characters being my age which connected much with me cause although they fight titans and what not, their personalities types, behaviour and thought patterns were kinda the same. Its as if you know them as classmates so to speak. I learned alot from this anime, not only is tha aot music,manga,anime art its also one of the best analogies to human nature,politics and the real world. It has lore not the biggest but big enough to feel like a real world. If titans were removed it would be a real life story essentially. And i feel like everytime i listen to this music you FEEL the greatness of aot. Now not all people might recognize it. Because anime and manga are still kinda marginalised just like movies were. But one day people will see how much of a work this is. Its a contribution to human kind. Its gotten to a point were other media seem bad because aot story is so good that normal stories feel like a boring product.
I’m just so happy that this masterpiece is happening in my lifetime, I’m not discovering it after years of its end no I’m living with SNK as its fan and that’s amazing! ❤️❤️🔥

As a septuagenarian I so happy I was able to live to see Attack on Titan in it's entirety, thanks! Also I recently went to a funeral of a family member who lived through 1930's/1940's Germany and will always remember her with "ist es immer" (it has to do with 5 years of German language education)

1:06:37 this is my song. Love it. I've seen death many times. The one that hurt the most was watching my little brother pass from a Brain tumor stage 4 in 2020. As I saw him pass....with tears in his eyes. ...I hugged him and cried the hardest I've ever had. This song reminds me of that day. As I held his cold cheek....looking at the person I loved the most. Our bond. Gone. Still makes me angry till the day.

The things that captivates me about AoT are the ideals of revolution and how they rival each other. Each main character has their own version of revolution that affect the entire globe (Eren's Rumbling activation to erase Paradis enemies, Zeke's euthanasia plan for Eldian, Marley's plan to capture the Founding Titan and wipe out Paradis). Ofcourse, alongside all that, the realization that the biggest enemy of Humanity is Humanity itself through hatred, greed, fear and ignorance. And so many other realism philosophy such as "My freedom is at the expense of my enemy", "There's no right or wrong. Only opposing views", etc And I haven't found some anime quite realistically grand like AoT itself. So for me, AoT is the best anime. PS: ofcourse the music hit strong af too bois!! Go Hiroyuki

Awesome anime and characters and also a plot of the story. Hajime Isayama is genius in the FORESHADOWING OF THE STORY and even their theme songs or ost songs of A.O.T are AWESOME. Hirowoku Sawano are genius musician and even his singers and his orchestra's of his songs are AWESOME!!!
AOT is NOT even one of my favorite anime but I would have to say it's one of the best because it's one of the highest quality out there. Just the freaking soundtrack itself already makes it top tier not to mention the storyline, animation, character development, and the trauma it leaves you... Certainly never will be a favorite of mine but still one of the best overall (personally just because of the soundtrack haha)
