Fatten the lambs, and sell them before next batch is being born. They are not breeding, because the pen is up to the capacity. At least this is what I think. That should be way much profitable than wool.

Thank you for this wonderful let's play :-) A story mode would be awesome, but should be voluntary. The best would be, if you could create your own stories when building a map, and stories as mods.
With these collectibles it is hard to just stumble upon them. They are small and often hard to spot unless you're actually looking for them, and some are in places you wouldn't normally go unless you were looking for something.
I was just thinking about what you said on stories in FS and I realised this is exactly the reason I follow you and why I love so much your survival series in particular. Daggerwin, you are certainly the story mode for FS to a lot of us. You have no idea how many times I started a new map or restarted an old one just because the story you crafted inspired me. I hope you are aware of that :-)
Wouldn't it make more sense to put your vineyard in a field closer to your grape processing facility? Like the field across from it? You could also put a shed up there to store all your equipment.
I have found another pixelart at the small church like house at the very bottom of the map under his farm at the bridge. But I havent found the collectible yet. May Daggerwin can find it.
Keep finding the games, progress this early in the game release is definitely nice for everyone to see! Also, don’t forget to take advantage of the worker system, you could have had a worker delivering equipment the whole time you were mowing!
Loving this series, I'm completely new to farming sim and learnt so much from watching these series. Binge watched them all do far... bring them out quicker 😂
#1 Get all the collectibles that you can, then put that money into your vineyard. I think 50k would make a pretty good expansion. #2 When you're doing the grass/silage/hay contracts, and you're trying to get the "bonus" grass on the outside of the field, use your rake to pull the bonus grass into the field. You may have to do an extra pass or two, but then it won't deny your baler. For some reason the mowers, tedders and rakes can go outside the boundaries without issue, but try taking a baler and it cuts you off. Great video, Daggerwin Ranch is coming along in great form. I'm STILL waiting for my game to arrive, but hopefully by the end of the week I'll be able to follow your lead.
Yeah keep finding the collectibles, the more you get to test out in this let's play the easier it will be next time when hard mode comes on lol. And btw, you have already been very close to several. 12:26 Take a look on top of that railroad bridge you went under. 18:28 Here you are right between 2, 1 by the building to your left, and you already found the other one. As I've mentioned before you should take a look in the small town surrounding the bakery, and the castle above. 6 cartridges are in that area alone. By the pond were you've been getting water, go to the tip of the thin piece of land in the middle of the pond.
On the left of the production screen you can turn off grape juice/raisins as you wish just like the greenhouses. You don't have to make everything. If I remember correctly, making everything is actually slower because it splits the cycles of the plant. So with the grape processing plant where it says 3 cycles per hour you are doing 1.5 cycles on each product with them both active.
I say you continue finding them! It will advance the let’s play quicker and allow you to expand the farm so we can see you use more of the equipment! Love your content!

When you purchase a production facility sell them the produce first and then buy the facility immediately. The produce will still be yours but you'll have received payment for it. I am enjoying this one Keep them coming. Cheers
Dagwin, you don't have to rent the big expensive forager for corn silage, there is this new piece of equipment that you attach to the back of a tractor, if it has reverse drive control. That would be very very nice to see in action!

Finding the collectable would be like looking for gold nuggets in Goldcrest Valley on FS17, and I remember clearly you dedicating a full video on the finding of those nuggets.
what i discovered about those bale pickers you don't like, is that you unfold, lower, get the bales on, then raise, and ALSO fold it back up once you have it folded back up, it seems to attach the bales securely to itself, just like ratchet straps on a trailer secure the load. if you leave it unfolded, they bounce off. once folded, they stay secure.
We have 13 rows of grapes, @ £28k build price per row totalling £364k. We spent around £300k on machinery. So total spend was like £660k one off, returning around £60k per year from our own processing building into juice. We also have 17 large greenhouses, returning around £360k per year from lettuce, and free water from the river (which does take some time to refill even with 32kl trailer). So 60k/year from juice, vs 360k/year from lettuce.... hmmm.... either greenhouses are returning WAY too much, or grapes have much too low of a return. Ref selling your grapes to the processing plant. Did you try deactivating juice? I notice they were both active. Cheers Richie.

Yeah. I remember working on my brothers farm when I was younger. Spending 16h in the tractor doing silage bales and wrapping them. The wrapping machine is mesmerizing. We had one of those where the press opens up and wrap the bale inside the machine. Don't remember the brand. It's not in FS19 is all I know.

the place with the boats in the town there's a cartridge near there =) loving the video's can't wait for survival roleplay though, decided to do potatoes for the first time today and holy poop they take a lot of seeds
The reason you’re getting both juice and raisins is because you have both products turned on. You can change the mode of raisins or juice so they stop being produced, use this if you only want to produce juice or the other way around. Currently, it’s going to divide the grapes evenly in half to produce half the amount of juice and grapes that it would have produced if you focus on only one of them. Pretty sure every 90 grapes you get 80 grape juice but for raisins it’s every 90 grapes you get 90 raisins. So, you get more raisins than you do juice but juice sells for more.
A story would be awesome... just for the days that you want to actually have a race against time since life is like that you have to get your crops up before the rain hail snow so on and on lol would be a neat concept
When buying a building, before you buy it you can sell the product to the building then immediately buy it and the product is still in the building. It only works the first time you buy, but it it’s a handy trick
For the collectibles you are looking for toy farm equipment scattered through the map. May be a harvester, plow, tanker, tractor, horse, cow, pig, sheep, etc. it’s $1,000 per item until you find all 10 of that type and you get 100k.
There's a collectible on the northern(center of map) train Bridge with the arches, and two at each end of the long Island in the middle of the map. And there's on near the raisin place and one just north of the raisin place in that Grey looking area on the map🤣
Just a tip - if you sell yout product just before buying the production facility you get paid for selling and all the product is still in there as an ingedient to be processed. You double your income.
Find the collectable! There's 1 at the train where you sell the grain at!

I "roleplay" collectibles as covernment subsidies and look for one each spring. Maybe use a similar approach, then you don't have to feel bad about using them ;)
With the 3 prong Bale Loader you don't like. I finally figured it out. To secure the bales in place so they don't always fall out you need to once in place CLOSE the loader to hold them. Same as you I was hopeless at using them but now easy. 🤣
Keep picking up collectables you find out in the wild. The chances of you stumbling upon more will diminish and besides.. it gives your farm a small push, the machinery is expensive enough that even 1 mil doesn't seem like much. Furthermore, a kind redditor has some google sheets available with some basic calculations with regards to profit margins. Turning grape into raisins for example increases it's value by 132%. One of the highest margins currently. Doesn't take machine cost, building, maintenance etc into account but gives an idea which production chains might be worth it.
Hi mate. Every time you fill with water at the little lake you are close to a collectable. Look at the map and it’s likely position should be relatively obvious.
Just a little hint . If you haven't been to the old castle like structure up by the spinnery, It would be worth your wild to search around it for awhile . Get the production building . I own it all the fields are now vineyards. I invite u to come see .
i think the collectibles should motivate players to explore the map. the devs made a good job designing them so i guess they want us to enjoy them to the fullest and this is the incentive. i say go for them, you would earn the money sooner or later anyway and at least you'd be able to show more machinery and other features sooner rather than later.
If you want additional money from contracts, you can take a bailing contract bail and wrapping it all. Then load it onto your trailer and cancel contract, bingo you have 30 to 40 bails to sell and make huge profits
Grape juice is not a byproduct from raisin . It is produced separately u can either produce raisin or juice or both . If you want to produce only juice deactivate raisin
Dagger, the pond you fill your water tanker up at I've heard there is a collectable close to its shoreline. And rumours are that old ruins can hide hidden treasures!

I’m getting FS22 in a couple days. I’m still playing FS19 right now. The production looks awesome.
Daggerwin if you want a tip for finding collectables look under bridges
There’s 1 when you fill up in the pond to the right. It’s in the inside strip of grass. There’s like 5 in the village and like 2 at the castle
I love your videos! Keep up with that great work!
Just a little hint . If you haven't been to the old castle like structure up by the spinnery, It would be worth your wild to search around it for awhile . Get the production building . I own it all the fields are now vineyards. I invite u to come see .
Landini is class
You should introduce it more
THANKS
i think the collectibles should motivate players to explore the map. the devs made a good job designing them so i guess they want us to enjoy them to the fullest and this is the incentive. i say go for them, you would earn the money sooner or later anyway and at least you'd be able to show more machinery and other features sooner rather than later.
You should check out the castle seeing as you haven't been there yet. Maybe hunt around the castle and castle grounds for something exciting
15:25 When you picked up the plow you destroyed the tractor
If you want additional money from contracts, you can take a bailing contract bail and wrapping it all. Then load it onto your trailer and cancel contract, bingo you have 30 to 40 bails to sell and make huge profits
If you look around the lake you gather water, you will encounter a collectable ;)
Grape juice is not a byproduct of making raisins, you have both of them enabled in the production building.
Grape juice is not a byproduct from raisin . It is produced separately u can either produce raisin or juice or both . If you want to produce only juice deactivate raisin
The fun bit is that after you reset the game the cartridges go back, too. Oh, and theres one very close to your watering hole ;)
Dagger, the pond you fill your water tanker up at I've heard there is a collectable close to its shoreline. And rumours are that old ruins can hide hidden treasures!
