Converting A Bench Grinder To A Metal Polisher

  • I was very lucky to acquire a 3/4 HP bench grinder from my Uncle & his father in law, which will help me immensely to polish up a lot of the metal parts on my turntable restorations.
    First things first, doing the conversion! Warning, it's my first time.
    EDIT // I use "two" spanners, not "to" haha! Hopefully you knew what I meant.

    I bought those same spindles from supercheap and they dont fit on my grinder either - thanks for the advice

    So the logic is you had to buy this special screw piece because the polishing wheel is so thick and if you had a thin buffing wheel you could just use washers and a nut? Cuse my doubts just want to attach this polishing wheels
