This is again a very good educational video. I'm really jealous of all the freshman who can learn at this time so much easier than when I was a medical student. But I am glad that I can learn so much more now than I knew before.

I'm not even in the biology field but I agree completely. Learning is so much easier now than 15 - 20 years ago. These videos are a pure joy to watch.

The reason we are able to advance so quickly is because we have stood on the shoulders of your generation and seen further. You paved the way!! You were the true pioneer of medicine which have allowed for this revolution to occur. These are the fruits of your labor!! And we are indebted to you for pushing medicine forward!!!

I'm 49 and had a distal pancreatectomy when I was 12, following a traumatic car accident. I have never completely understood what surgeries happened to me because my family never explained anything. I have never had any follow-up so thank you so much for sharing this video. It really helped me get an understanding of what's been happening inside my body all these years.

The pancreas is a long, slender gland that is located in the upper abdomen, behind the stomach. It extends from the top of the stomach to the bottom of the abdominal cavity and is about 6 inches long. The pancreas has two main functions: to produce digestive enzymes and to secrete hormones, such as insulin.
Digestive enzymes are secreted into the small intestine through a duct called the pancreatic duct. These enzymes help to break down carbohydrates, fats, and proteins so that they can be absorbed into the bloodstream. Hormones are produced by cells in the pancreas called pancreatic beta cells. These hormones regulate blood sugar levels by controlling the amount of glucose (sugar)

Just one note; i think you mixed up the main and accessory panc. Ducts cuz the accessory comes from the lower part of the head and ascends to open in the minor duodenal papilla which is superior to the major one. Also the main duct is the one coming form tail, body, and upper part of the head.

The Video is designed into a program VIDEOSCRIBE, where you put together a story and pick the organs and drawing. It looks flawless in the presentation, however putting something like this together is lengthy, and requires knowledge of the subject and about 8-12 hours of preparation (at least). So although the drawing seems to be the most impressive part, IT IS NOT!! it is all automated through VIDEOSCRIBE. The most impressive part of this video is the ORGANIZATION, PLANNING, VOICEOVER AND TIME that it took to prepare.

Anyway can I suggest topics for the future videos, like the physiology of sleep&wakefulness? It's pretty hard to understand and maybe visuals can be really helpful for it 👍
