it wasn't budget issue. blue lock has all the budget it actually needs. the issue was time constraint. animators were super rushed and due to its poor management, they gave us this lol. its pretty sad

Anime and manga has always been very cheap to produce, it survives on the broken backs of the artists. But at least we get weekly releases. Western comics on the other hand, stuff it full of colors causing chaos, with zero quality writing and shit out an issue once per month. Two extreme sides on the spectrum. Then you have those in the middle that have some true gems but nobody cares until a French movie or American TV show is made about them..

That's why i like bout blue lock every character is an mc, at this point i don't really care about the animation i just want to see a great football match there is still hope for u20 for better animation.
U20 trailer just came out... From what I've seen I'm guessing the animation level will be like ep 3/4 and still images 😢, wanted better (DESERVES BETTER)but 🤷 still going to watch it.(Highly recommend the manga)

Shidou is 18. And others like Aiku and U-20 defensive line they all are 19. Shidou's nickname is Zesty Demon. Sae is also calling him Akuma-kun (demon). He's that hard to handle. In the manga, he's always causing trouble and beating up other people. He got locked up as a punishment. Even when he was locked up, he cursed like crazy 😂😂 they didn't animate all of those. Ngl, as for a best-selling manga last year, this adaptation is poor. I hope they do better in the match.
I swear the “age check” comment is getting old its so annoying to hear we get it they look old, but in the anime the listed under-20 just appreciate the design and move on 🙄…. Love the reactions tho keep it up 👍
yep.. saw the trailer for the u20 match, and... its dissapointing, i guess we're still gonna have frame lock for the rest of the episodes, i had my hopes up for a better animation to the u20 match
