I live in canada and chant mahamrityuanja before leaving my place. I had very bad road accident last winters. My rental work van flipped over on the highway due to flat tire at 100km/hr which had faulty airbags and emergency brakes. Van went off the highway and took many turn but idk what was stopping my car to hit the ground from driver side. It was more than 30sec flips and I remember everything like it happened in slow motion but i came out of the van without a single scratch on my body.

Hum usko apne hisab se change nahi kar sakte.
For example: Hum Hanuman ji ka mantra chant kar ke Wealth creation and wealth increase karne ki kosish karenge tou that will not be fruit full. Uss ke liye hume maa Lakshmi ji ki mantra chant karna hoga.
Every mantra has specific frequencies that can help in certain ways. Yes, for hope you can do it, but it needs a tremendous amount of faith, which is described in Bhakti yoga. If you do that, mantra is not helping, but your faith is working in the desired direction.

I'll share my experience.
My 4yr old kid got major water burn on his whole body. He was there in the hospital for 2 months. He went to 3 major surgeries and 2 surgeries failed. Somebody told me to play mahamrityunjay mantra and make my kid listen.
Everyday every night every time I used to play the mantra .
Due to the burn my kid did not get to sleep every night.
For 1 month I used to play it.
He came safely out after 2 months.
And now my kid is so used to it he asks me to play the mantra while going to sleep. 🙏🏻 Since everyone has their own mantras and has their own Aradhya and Kuldaivat.
Everybody's experiences are different.
But yes it worked for my kid 🙏🏻

yes we can, no restriction. Dont think about the logic. just faith on him. If you dont chant then close your eyes even during your bed means sleep time and just concentrate on him whatever the way you feels better. You will receive immense result.

He didn’t say chanting Maha Mrutyunjaya mantra will make one to lose his/ his dear one’s life. What he said was the mantra helps remove bad karma and if the person you want save from death, happened to live only because to finish all the consequences of Bad karma, then the mantra will remove the Bad karma when chanted with devotion, which in result gives the person peaceful and non-violent death. And he will not suffer anymore because of his bad Karma.
Edit: And may be in your your case your uncle was suffering because of Bad Karma and the mantra helped him get rid of the bad Karma.
Bad Karma consequences necessarily need not be only death, it can come in form of decease, worst family, being orphan/having biased parents, etc,.

Shivaay Namah. Triambaka Mantra (Often known as Maha Mrityunjaya slight different though) is meant for breaking karmic cycles and smooth leaving of body. The mantra says "Urbaru Kurmiva Bandhnath" like cucumber suddenly and smoothly fall from the creeper. It is not for longevity as rightly said. If something else is happening to people, they might have that particular intention or belief while chanting this mantra. Which may work at the subtle plain. The mantra itself is meant for smoothly leaving the body and attain nirvana (no recurring rebirths). In fact Lord Mahadeva is worshiped for spiritual wellbeing, not for material wellbeing. Namah Shivaay.
Its doesn't mean that it says that we get detached from the moah not from life.

Ur next life is been taken away and moksha is been given when mritunjay mantra is been recited. So it won't kill u if u recite it daily also,it just removes bad karma and also let's u achieve moksha. I think this 23 year old guy needs more clarification about spirituality. And its his own perspective but not the correct one, he needs to go through shiv puran to understand about mritunjay mantra and it's 2-3 variation....
Absolutely man, it all looks rubbish. It's good, I mean I respect his opinion but for his own self. Like the meaning of the mantra itself clarifies that it helps a man be free from bondages. But if one would go away early how does that help in relieving from bondage? It will leave a feeling of something incomplete in both - the one who departed and the ones who are left here. In fact Maha mritunjay mantra can prevent untimely death. It is also mentioned in Vedas that it can cure diseases.

What I feel if you can invite a real guru who is well versed about the different types of Mantras and can suggest right mantra for people in general so that they can feel better, relieve stress from their lives, that would be very beneficial.
