    No matter how big you build a shed, it's always full before it's finished and never seems quite big enough. Thank you for sharing another day on the farm. Please stay safe, and God bless.

    Fun video, thanks! I love puzzles lol Nice job fitting everything in there! I guess the second time was the charm with the starter? Thanks for sharing. Nice to see that style of crank which doesn't pull your arm off once it turns over and fires. (am I thinking of an old Ford model A or T? lol )

    You guys amaze me with the parking skills. I always wondered why your dad always drove so much. I think he just likes to drive tractors. Your channel is always so interesting. Thank you!

    Thanks for sharing the video. Nice shed. One thing for sure is you can't build one too big as you can always fill them up. Y'all have a nice farm and y'all keep your equipment nice too. Can't beat the old Farmall tractors.

    One of the things I've seen that we didn't think about when I was back on the old farm was putting a hitch on the front of a tractor (and burn a hitch hole in the skid-steer pallet fork) so you can drive forward to push equipment back in the barn. Easier to see and place implements.

    Loved your look of success when the motor started. Congratulations.
    The moving of all of the equipment is called making the most efficient use of space. Another example would have been us loading our small hatchback with everything for camping trip to Colorado from Michigan. We could still see through the rear view mirror, but it was tight.
    You work well together.

    Big fan of the black muffler on the 686. I had the same style on the 66 series. If I couldn't get a black one, I would paint it with hi temp grill paint.

    We had Rex chopperwagons in the 90s growing up. They were made by Seifert Manufacturing in Kiel, WI. Company went bust in the mid-80s along with many local equipment companies. Ours were unique in that the wagons unloaded on the opposite side of what you normally see, so instead of the wagon tractor being right next to the blower tractor, you pulled up to the blower from the opposite direction. Never seen that on any other wagon on youtube.

    Another great video, I personally wonder could you modify the Rex chopper box to be more of fall storage wagon for corn stalks or a place to store corn when ya pick the ears

  • @danw6014
    @danw6014 ปีที่แล้ว

    We had three Kasten chopper wagons. I never see anything from them anymore so I assume they have gone the way of the dodo bird. I have an attachment for my skid loader for moving trailers and equipment around that I like to use. The only thing that it doesn't work to well on is full hay wagons.

    Torch a hole at the end of each one of your forks, alot easier to move things around than using a tractor and then trying to push with a fork with no pin hole. I got a hole at the end in all of my forks, as do most other guys around me. I never need a tractor moving things around unless it is something huge with a ton of tongue weight, which usually would be to big to move with the skidsteer anyhow.

      We did that also. Now we have a receiver hitch mounted on a quick attach plate way nicer for moving heavy pieces. Use it all the time.

  • @MorganOtt-ne1qj
    @MorganOtt-ne1qj ปีที่แล้ว

    WOW, that's a LOT of moving equipment around! Maybe you can put "spring" stuff on one side, "fall" stuff on the other, and "summer" in the middle facing one door, "winter" facing the other door. Shuffling equipment around drives me nuts, especially when I don't usually have any help to spot me backing up beside and up to other equipment. Y'all have packed 20# of stuff in a 10# bag! 👍

    Is the "Pabst" sign from the brewery, or from the farm that they had? I drove by the farm a few years ago, it's now a conference center, but in it's day it was a heckuva dairy barn!

    It’s impressive that you guys care so much about your equipment. So many people just leave most of that stuff outside to age prematurely, like discs, bale wagons, and that bale elevator.
