I’m a Farming Simulator junkie and was just killing time late at night watching a few videos before a movie starts and came across this and watched it for fun. I’ve seen a few map tours and everyone covers the normal starting farm and all the production places and main points of interest but I’ve yet to see someone highlight these other potential starting farms. Solid video. I liked your presentation and narration. I see you are a small channel so just wanted to acknowledge your work. Well done.
I started with the second lot you mentioned its really good as you can get quite a bit of money off mowing all the grass, which gives you a chance at the start and plenty of trees so you could make a bit of money off that. I purchased the small field to the left of the lot which really helps also. The barn that sits in front of the house does allow weather to get inside so if it snows it snows inside that building. Nice video very informative
Yay, I love that farm house and grass work is a great idea for those lots. Sad to hear about that barn, that happened in FS22 a lot but I thought Giants had fixed it. Good luck with your farm!
I started on the 4th farm but bought field 54 just north of it because you can sell water at the rice greenhouse until you buy the land, then it's gone. After getting enough cash, i bought field 65 and used it for sheep, cleared all the buildings, and then put greenhouses on the raised area at the back. Put chickens and pigs on the bit of land included across the road next to the river. I bought field 66 and put a huge cowshed in the lower part of 65 with that as the pasture. I like this plot because although its out on the edge of the map all the parts of the map are accessible by road (no ferry just too slow)
Stumbled across this. Great video. I spent a while on release day looking for alternatives and thought the exact same 3 were the best options. If you get an easy starting crop in 66 I found that was my personal favourite for creativity and options
@ 3! Impressive. I can just about manage one let’s play that’s recorded and a token effort at an offline just for me game. Bravo sir. Keep up the content, as new creator was really helpful to watch your stuff 👍🏻
I strted myself in the 3rd area you mentioned and it's a great area! I was lucky and started with barley instead of parsnips. There is enough room for chickens, greenhouses and a few small productions. The sawmill is a good one to get because the all the forest to cut down plus the museum to help restore is just on the other side of the hill. I also put heaps of beehives in the hills which gives me good amount of honey. I like that the big field is right there because it's something to work towards.
I started my first playthroug on "Survival Difficulty", 0 cash, no loans, no lease, no mods, no AI, no equipment, no farm. So after several contracts I could by the cheapest farm "34", its 1 acre, but something to start with.
Man, biggest thing I don't agree with Giants on. If you have a windmill or well on your property you should not have to PAY for water...I know you can get a mod to avoid that but i think that should be standard. HAHA
Late to the party but the absolute best farm to start on is 42. Good size rectangle field, lots of flat land to build on, a collectible in the shed, and a house you use or sell. If you sell it you get all that land for like 40k. Right next to a sell point, and not a far trip from the shop
I actually like your first two options better than the starter farm you get. I think the starter farm in FS22 is better than the starter in 25. My opinion
I can see that, I think they tried too hard to show off all the new features with the starter farm. I don’t mind the setup but I don’t think they needed the bees or the construction project in the yard.
@ I agree. I also think there’s a lot of wasted space on the starting property. Moving forward I’ll be starting with Field Manager and selecting my property. I do miss my Elm Creek farm though
I don’t believe that you can. I was not sure if you were talking about the fence around the water tower or the fence next to the driveway. I tried them both and was not able to sell.
Lot 1 is the hidden gem at the beginning
Lot 2 is at 4:55
Lot 3 is at 8:25
Lot 4 is the starting farm at 11:43

Thank you so much, I appreciate it. Glad you enjoyed the video!

Wow, that sounds like an awesome setup. I agree, I rode the ferry once and never again 🤣
Yeah the ferry is even worse if it is on the other side of the river!!🤣

I do really like that farm, if I wasn’t already playing 3 saves on Riverbend Springs I would give it a try. I’m sure I will eventually!

So glad it was helpful!

Great idea with the bees for honey, I’ll have to try that!

Wow, that’s quite the challenge! Good luck with the farm on field 34.
Thanks for the insight. Very helpful. Great video. Well informed.
Thanks for the comment, glad you liked it!
With that greenhouse you can sell the Rice Saplings by only providing water, very lucrative and easy money for little work.
I’ve heard that, good tip!
@itsagooddaytobe You don't have to go in menu to go to construction..just L1 and touchpad takes you right in construction mode..easy and quick😉👍
Wow, didn’t know that. Thanks for the tip!
@@itsagooddaytobe your'e welcome👍
How did I not know this 😂🤦🏻♂️ brilliant!

New sub, hey everyone 👋
Welcome aboard!

Elm creek was great!
Removing stuff close to the edge of the map is easier than trying to place something in its place. Just a warning.
Yeah, I’ve always struggled when placing buildings. That’s why I like these farms with already placed farm houses.
Hey, Chuck
Anyone ever tell you, that you look like 'JoblessGarrett'? You look just like him.
Anyways, I sub for the farm content.
Haha, no that’s a first for me. Thanks for the sub, hope you enjoy the content!
Can you delete the fence from the first farm???
I don’t believe that you can. I was not sure if you were talking about the fence around the water tower or the fence next to the driveway. I tried them both and was not able to sell.
There are more farmhouses to buy on that map where you can start...
Can you tell me what field they are near and I’ll check them out?
I am using Lot 1 on my channel
Glad to know someone is using it!
Seems like you´re also playing on ps5 how about FPS ? i cant play it on 30 is trash :/
I cannot afford a gaming PC, so I’m just happy that I can play FS25. Yes, I wish they had 60 fps but to be honest the draw distance bothers me more.
