Heck I’m only an hour and half north of Port Canaveral and 5 hours north of Miami but always book a hotel the night before the cruise. I-95 is unreliable when it comes to traffic. I’m a Hilton Gold member so I always get the best price for my stay.
Oh, interesting! See, I avoid a hotel at all costs if I can, even if it means flying in same day from my home in the Midwest. And yes, I know that's a huge risk, but fortunately it's worked for me so far! *knock on wood*
@@ProfMelissa Lol! It only takes one missed flight (or traffic jam in my case) to miss your cruise. I also treat the departure port as part of the cruise experience.
