Slight correction at around 10:30-ish: you mentioned that using 2 of your 3 guaranteed Heads on Cup of Ace leaves you needing one of your 3 The Paths of Destiny to RNG your opponent, but it actually doesn't if you find all 3 copies... unless your opponent opens cracked (Droplet x Trap or double Chalice) or starts with more than 4000LP via a Skill (like Dennis' Level X4). Outside of these fringe cases (which might become more frequent as people cotton onto this), you'll OTK because even the worst case scenario deals 4000 damage: 1. Heads (the final guaranteed result): changed to 2000 damage via Reficule. 2. Tails: 1000 damage. 3. Tails: 1000 damage.
thats not a correction, I mentioned that. The part that i stated there was talking about his enemy controller. If he Econ me in response to the first trap id have to chain the other 2, making one a gamble as the first trap isnt going to work with the nurse (as hes taking it)

Obviously it doesn't ultimately matter because you won, but I wanted to clear things up, if not for you (because you already knew what you meant) then for other people watching.

@@spursamn yes, set 3 is better by a miles because a lot of games you would use 2 guaranteed head for Cup of Ace to find the combo pieces which mean you only have 1 guaranteed head left which mean 2 PoD isn't a guarantee FTK. I'm not even talking about how adding Condemned and Lance just make your deck less consistency.
Not sure but dragon spirit of white is treated as a normal monster and successor soul doesn't work on it but it is still not a normal monster and cannot be linked.
I can confirm this. Either he got EXTREMELY lucky to go 9/10 in his run or he straight up showed us wins from using a different deck. I made the exact decklist and tried it against NPCs and it bricks 70% of the time. Sometimes even when you luck out and manage to dig for nurse and 2 of the trap, if you used cup of ace twice, only one heads is guaranteed and the opponent has a 50/50 chance of surviving with 1000 LP left. Having to skip your opening draw kills any consistency the deck had a chance of having. Add in the factor of potentially going second in ranked and going against any kind of disruption and you would be lucky to win 2 out of 10 games.
Oh a huge problem you say? Welp unfortunately it likely won't be fixed for a while, what with how infrequently Konami fixes things, and also with Konami being busy with worlds, very unfortunate timing with this mistake
The only way to survive this Nurse burn (mainly going 2nd) is essentially having a combination 2 Quick Play monster negates, a removal/setter, or some other damage neutralizer (which still works if it is the result of a coin toss and doesn't increase LP). Good luck drawing them with the 1st 5 cards. Other than that, "Performage Trapeze Magician" locks this completely down, but not many decks can even play it.
HELP PLEASE. How come you can activate traps during your opponent’s draw phase? I can only activate traps when my opponent has played something during main phase.

Yes, it would matter. Basically the skill (for whatever reason) makes the FIRST person's coin (who in this case is going to be your opponent) to always land on heads. The trap card says that whoever lands their coin on heads, they gain 2000LP. However, the Nurse makes it so the player receives that amount of LP as damage. It's vital for them to toss a head because otherwise they wouldn't lose (assuming the skill gets fixed, it won't be guaranteed that the opponent's toss will be a head, so if they land always on tails they only receive 3000LP and are still alive).
@@zGlace The main factor I didn't know was Duel Links halfing the damage of burn cards, so I was thinking, "Either way, they take 2000," not, "They either take 2000 or 1000" which makes a hell of a difference.
I've been playing this deck the past couple of days. The skill does need to be fixed but it has not been nearly as consistent for me. In a lot of my games i happened to go second and it becomes more susceptible to interaction from your opponent (like popping nurse or book of moon). Also bad draws are like drawing Arcana monsters and paths of destiny with no additional draw power. Have to say it is still annoying but is not nearly as consistent as stated.

I don't think it's consistent enough to KOG, but it is consistent enough to (relatively) quickly get the ranked duel rewards... which means it's going to infest the ladder and be super annoying.
I've tried this deck (i know, i felt like i needed a shower afterwards) and had the most stupid game ever on ranked. I went first against someone on Peformages of all decks, I managed to draw my entire deck and set up the Nurse and triple of the trap and pass the turn to my opponent. -> draw phase I shotgun the first trap -> my opponent chains Forbidden Chalice -> I chain the 2nd trap -> he discards damage juggler to negate the 2nd trap -> I flip the 3rd and last trap. -> I deal 3k damage with the 2 traps that resolved -> my opponent goes strait from mainphase to the End Phase because I will lose by deck-out. HOWEVER.... the skill skips your first draw for turn of the duel.
Sooo because the skill didn't let me draw I didn't deck out and I kid you not both of us just stopped playing for like 10 seconds to comprehend what just happened and my opponent just surrenders and gives me a nice 😂😂

No, Dark World Dealing requires you to discard which you never want to do and it also makes your opponent draw which increases the chances of them having cards like BoM or Chalice.
Limit Paths of Destiny to 2. Done. And of course fix the interaction with the skill and Paths of Destiny. Then the limit 2 probably won't even be necessary.
As we were chatting before: the fact that the opponent got heads doesn't mean it was guaranteed. It's 50/50 and you got lucky. I played the deck too and I lost a game cuz I hit tails 2 times and opponent lost only 2k. I wish I had the replay to show. It's not a glitch (at least not in the videos examples).
they're going to just do something stupid like say you need to play 20 unique coin flip cards or something and kill a skill that isn't even that good like when they deleted every generic consistency skill the game had even though none of those were half as good the bs skills we have in the game now like shiranui, yubel, phantom knights, etc.

Honestly even with this bug this deck is not very playable, card for card same build the ammount of times i have a hand full of all arcana force cards or like one nurse and one path of destiny and then draw into another arcana with no way to get it out of my hand ... lol this is not very good 😂😂😂😂
I don’t see how Master of Destiny helps this? You can force your opponent to flip heads, and Nurse makes them take 2k….as opposed to tails which makes your opponent take 2k

Running lp boost skill will make sure you don't die from the first 2 trap uses, and then on 3rd use, you can chain interruption. If you didn't draw the out or your deck requires a skill which doesn't give you lp at the start of your duel... good luck!
the first player win on second draw phase during opponent turn. Master of Destiny only flips head. And this is the issue for why Konami should fix current bugs. This skill somehow allow you to grab opponent coin and toss it face up xD.
@@FishBanana not nesesarly... the main issue ive found with the deck is... your monster aint immune to traps and spells so what did i change.. i added lance. do you know how many times i would have losed without the forbiddens. i have anoyed so many in mirrors back in the day where it was just hey let me just combo you... i used to run classic nurse... and who else did... well luna in world championship 2010 and 2011 but she ran cards that if they come to duel links nurse will be a bigger issue XD. cause gift card is 3000 damage then XD. have going against that + path. that doesnt even need the skill.

@@FishBanana yea i mentioned that in a diffrent comment. the reason why is cause its easily removable. unlike nurse theres a lot more ways to deal with simochi than nurse. since theres a loooooot of spell and trap removal and you can just wait for path to be both activated before you chain into it. and that is easier than with nurse. since you got about 8 diffrent ways to get rid of simochi and about 2-3 to deal with nurse.
simoshi will be the filler if nurse gets limited no doubt about it. but till that happens nurse will be run a lot more. so i do recommend running 1-2 lance just to protect nurse incase of the negate forbidden, the spell from sky strikers etc.

i watched this deck in playmaker ld channel, even he made the fastest ftk. Konami will nerf the skill or banned the nurse

Honestly even with this bug this deck is not very playable, card for card same build the ammount of times i have a hand full of all arcana force cards or like one nurse and one path of destiny and then draw into another arcana with no way to get it out of my hand ... lol this is not very good 😂😂😂😂

I don’t see how Master of Destiny helps this? You can force your opponent to flip heads, and Nurse makes them take 2k….as opposed to tails which makes your opponent take 2k
Read “The Paths of Destiny” again real quick
Many burn effects got nerfed in duel links, the card effect now heals for 2k and only deals 1k damage

Never seen a burn deck win in Duel links ever as the cards are so nerfed. Fix the skill, but otherwise leave it be. Burn decks need some love.

the first player win on second draw phase during opponent turn. Master of Destiny only flips head. And this is the issue for why Konami should fix current bugs. This skill somehow allow you to grab opponent coin and toss it face up xD.
@@FishBanana not nesesarly... the main issue ive found with the deck is... your monster aint immune to traps and spells so what did i change.. i added lance. do you know how many times i would have losed without the forbiddens. i have anoyed so many in mirrors back in the day where it was just hey let me just combo you... i used to run classic nurse... and who else did... well luna in world championship 2010 and 2011 but she ran cards that if they come to duel links nurse will be a bigger issue XD. cause gift card is 3000 damage then XD. have going against that + path. that doesnt even need the skill.
@@vickelibert5637 maybe they will limit Nurse to 1 or 2. But why people doesn't want to play "Bad reaction to Simochi"? The trap card is literally the same as Nurse except it is trap card.
@@FishBanana yea i mentioned that in a diffrent comment. the reason why is cause its easily removable. unlike nurse theres a lot more ways to deal with simochi than nurse. since theres a loooooot of spell and trap removal and you can just wait for path to be both activated before you chain into it. and that is easier than with nurse. since you got about 8 diffrent ways to get rid of simochi and about 2-3 to deal with nurse.
simoshi will be the filler if nurse gets limited no doubt about it. but till that happens nurse will be run a lot more. so i do recommend running 1-2 lance just to protect nurse incase of the negate forbidden, the spell from sky strikers etc.
