Hi Shel, congrats on your first happy mail. Rita is so sweet and so nice of her to send you her new book. I love it too, I think it is my favorite so far (haha, I said that about the Europe book too). Even though I got it last weekend I still enjoy the flip throughs. Love the excitement, lol. I can help out on some things. FFM is short for Frankfurt/Main. Frankfurt is a city in Germany where Rita lives and it is on the river Main. There is another Frankfurt in Germany on the river Oder. Thats why people over here refer to the rivers to tell the two Frankfurts apart. Yes it is the Transsiberian Railroad and the first stop in the book is in Moscow (the Kremlin pictured). The dog looks like a Shiba Inu, a japanese breed. They kind of look like foxes, beautiful dogs. A japanese friend of mine has one. And yes, the tents in Mongolia are called Yurts. The bird looks like a hunting falcon. They wear headgear for stress reduction. The "tags" with the paint brushes are explained in Zucchini Kittys flip through video. She knows a lot of japanese/chinese culture and explains some things. I love the images in this book and can't wait to see all the beautiful images colored. Thank you for this detailed flip through ❤

And I of course can only speak for me, but i honestly love when you (and others flipping through books), point things out… i guess because sometimes, especially busy pages, or whatever, i sometimes dont know exactly what something is… ha. And just in general really love flip throughs to see details one notices. Or hear what they envision sometimes.
Exciting stuff!! it is such a beautiful book!! Have you managed to start colouring in it yet?! I am yet to start my first page, but hopefully soon with a colouralong on the channel! Can't wait to start putting colour to the pages 🤗💗
