The lyrics crystalizes why 7.4 millions (a 43% increase since I left) Hong Kongers call it home despite the trial and tribulation pre- and post- colonisim. May I ask the source of the English translation of the lyrics? Is it “official”? Thanks.

The way of election to choose the chief executive right now is totally according to the Basic Law. If you don't accept it, then get the f*** out of Hong Kong like the BNOers and don't come back. To remind you before you are doing so, for those who brainwash you guys like Anson Chan, Martin Lee, Audrey Eu etc, they would rather to stay in such "suffocated, non -democratic" Hong Kong than going to live in Britain even they owned genuine British passport.
