    Hello Shashank,
    Thanks for nice video..
can you explain, what is the diff. between AWS backup and EC2 Lifecycle manager.

Compared to Data Lifecycle Manager, Backup is much more powerful tool, and it can serve as a centralized location for configuring and monitoring backups. AWS Backup can be used not only for EBS volumes, but also for RDS databases, DynamoDB tables, Storage Gateway volumes, and even EFS file systems.

Try to check latest snapshot of associated volume of existing instance and restore the data from there itself..

@@Cloud4DevOps Sorry I don't fully understand, because I'm new to this service
So I have a data/folders stored in EC2 instance. after that I used the bakup plan service for my EC2. But when I restore EC2 and automatically my data/folder doesn't exist, right? So how do I get my data/folders back and stored on the newly restored EC2?

@@ahlandaputra3431 I am not sure if you are taking an AMI from backup service or EBS volume snapshots.. If you are doing AMI backup then you are also backing up EBS volume as part of associated volumes to your instance. Now , if you have latest snapshot of your EBS volume then you can directly. create volume from latest snapshot and attach to your instance which will help you to restore data present into your EBS volume,.

@@Cloud4DevOps Should I create a backup plan for EBS Volume? Because I only created it for EC2 instance

@@ahlandaputra3431 If you. are creating backup as am AMI , you dont need EBS specific plan.. AMI creation itself creates backup of your associated volumes. Dont get confuse..
