I made a baby dragon inside of an egg once. I suspended the baby dragon in the wet resin with fishing line, the line disappears in the resin and works perfectly. I love your enthusiasm in exploring new ideas!!
I'm loving the dioramas! I received the molds I ordered today and I can't wait to start playing with them! LOL I was worried because the package arrived pretty torn up--one of the molds was actually hanging out a bit. Thankfully the plastic bags you pack them in protected them enough so no damage. (Yay!) Gotta love how "careful" the post treats our packages sometimes. 🙄

Cute! I'd like to see the diver painted in silver or a color to stand out more. I also prefer using soapy water to demold, I wonder if alcohol ink eventually breaks down the silicone? In any case, I ❤ the whimsiness of this piece😊!

It worked and looks so good, Julie!! 👍💕 That megalodon is really scary. So glad we don't have those still hanging around our oceans! 😅

I love your work, but I'm a very buisy lady and you show so much of your pets, birds and yard that I feel is not nessasary. Please keep up the wonderful and beautiful things you teach, but leave out so much of your home life. Oh, and I really, really do like you
Using string would have made positioning the diver easier. Even toothpicks under the arms might have made your work much easier. That said, round two turned out much better than the first go. Well done! 😁👍

On a different subject, do you have net covering over your back area so that prey cannot access your yard with your cuties out there playing? I have never seen that here in the US. I love seeing your world in AU. Thank you for sharing.
You could lower the amount of resin in the mouth, let it fully cure and then use a little bit of uv resin to hold the diver in place and then fill the rest of the mouth with resin
It turned out so great! The resin is crystal clear! I bought a couple of the larger skull molds. Our Son wants to make one so, I got 2. That way we can work on them together. Like all Parents, he’s pretty busy guy but, we’ll get to it eventually. In the meantime I want to pour one and put a Solar System in it. I’m going to use marbles for the Planets and I want to add a Saturn 🪐 like ring around one but, I haven’t worked out how to do that yet.😅 Thanks for sharing your wonderful diorama with us!
Have you used the small vacuum chamber lately? I know you already have a sweet setup, but I’m looking for more feedback. PS: Is there a chance the 4-cavity puffy heart mold might be available again? I don’t think the 9-cavity is too pricey (it is a big mold, and the postage was better than I remembered); I just feel like 9 is more than I _need_ .

I use a small piece of tin foil! You can mold it to be whatever shape you need and its reusable

Maybe pre-pour wire around a marble? The clear resin will disappear once inside. Maybe with UV?
