In this video luza condition was same as mine on eating seeds once at a day. Today i try giving them wet pellets and fortunately Peach also try and eat them😆 but like Luza they are eating like 10% seeds ( including treats ) i don't even want them to eat that much. Any more new tips to use so that they can chng a little bit faster 😅
Sadly there is no way to speed up the process 😭 either way you are making great progress! If you are at the point of them eating seeds once a day id just try taking away the seeds entirely and see how it goes
@@mimisbirdhouse ohh okay! Yesterday i didn't give them seeds until they stop eating other things i give them their fav veggies, fruits and hand feed them soak pellets ( i use them for just half an hour ) then at last i give them some seeds at the very last, they didn't eat that much seeds. They also eat some cooked rice from our plates 😅 Can i mix crush pellets in their chop this morning, my chop is not thar much dry, it's kind of wet. Will it work?
@@mimisbirdhouse thank u, i try giving crush pellets but they didn't like 🥲 but they try eating pellets now, i also feed them soaked pellets by my hand. They are used to eat wet chop, not too much wet and i also give them some raw oats too 😊 Should i give them some mineral supplements too for their better health, only for now since they are not on complete pellet diet? If so plz recommend me some, then i will check if they available in my country or not.
Hiiii hope things are well with you.. I had a quick question about treats. My Quaker has chop and pellets thankfully.. But Quakers tend to get overweight so I don't want to mess up. What kind of seeds do you use during training and how much? There's not much info about "type of healthy or low fat seeds". Ppl just say seeds lol
I love to use walnuts as treats. They are high in protein and lower in fat than most other nuts :) I avoid seeds (just my preference) bc i dont want them getting addicted to it or increase their risk to being overweight or developing fatty liver disease.
here in the uk we would call this method the same as using a pestal and mortor
Thank you a lot
Thank you great video. My daughter cockatiel won't eat pellets. He a seed junkie. I will Share this with her
I really hope this helps 🥰

@@Monart7487 you can crush pellets sure! Something I found works really well too to add variety when my chop is too wet is to mix in some oats!

@@Monart7487 sounds good ☺️ and if they are eating fruits and veggies they are getting some good minerals ontop of some of the pellets they eat ☺️
