because the cameras back then recording were better than what the tvs today put it, its jsut that t the time they had no technologies to support the hd caopture from the cameras used, to remaster a old movie si so simple as you pretty much only have to reforat the oprnginal recording from the 70's the roignal reel and play it through todays software and the original starwars will look so crisp.
