9:12 I appreciate you acknowledging lag here, I was trying to cmp on the second ace, but I kept getting desynched by one turn lag. I run an 8 attack gligar, so I was sure I would win it, but unfortunately it was not to be.
Also, the decision to throw the ace afterwards was just a bit of tilt. I knew I needed to farm down.

The best part about goodra is its bulk and coverage with grass and water moves, seeing how it was able to take that zap cannon from regi just goes to show how bulky goodra is as a pure dragon mon compared to stuff like dnair
Can’t wait to see Goodra getting its community day later this year. Hopefully it can see some play in Master Premier down the line

There’s just so many move sets that I didn’t even know existed and I stop and this was great to watch even though I don’t know much of the pvp side this is a very nice to watch and hope too see more movesets might get back to Pokémon go soon😅
Shadow feraligatr was the best mon I think. 5 shadow claws to a cannon is just like amazing and one of my favorite mons. Didn’t get to battle you last season at legend rank running spice lol. Good luck my man I’ll see you up there 👆

Confused why the game says Mud Bomb was not very effective on Goodra at 3:29. Seems you didn't notice it was mud bomb either because you state "they go for the Scald" in it.

I think that dragonair is better for GL. I think its attack is better than the bulk of goodra. But I haven’t tried goodra so I can’t really say much

Go to a rank checking site like Go Stadium, go to the rank checker, choose your mon, plug in its IVs, and the site will tell you its rank, as well as its true stats for each league. This shows up to the right of the rank as a series of numbers, for attack, defense, and hp. Basically in this video Henry is recommending that in the great league you want IVs that lead to an attack of 122 or above. Getting as close to meeting that threshold as possible allows you maintain some level of bulk as well as getting the break point, so it is ideal to not go over that attack stat by much.

The aggressiveness of the algorithm is giving me dark thoughts. After sweeping all week, *all of a sudden* I’m garbage and can’t play a single match without either top left, losing every cmp tie, or completely hard countered. I work full time and play for fun not trying to formulate and calculate every move I make, what do I do to play AND enjoy it? Do I have to throw matches to keep my elo low? It’s sad I MUST lose a certain amount of matches to play at an enjoyable level. Two days in and I rose to a level that I am only meeting hard counter, swapping and counting sweat try hards, I am not that so I top left.
There is no use saying this on this channel bro. Henry, zyonik and some other youtubers decline the existence of algorithm. Even after getting random counter pokemon if I have to be blind then I don't think it's worth it. Climbing legend requires skill for sure. I have respect for everyone climbs leaderboard but not listening to your viewers and declining their experience is a failure as an youtuber. They are the voice for us and they stand against us. It's sad to see.

@andrewcurl909 that would be the plays in the game and no I don't, but talking about the timing is rather annoying and none of the other channels harp on that so I guess it's not just commentary.
