It's the same in Saint John's School. Only Catholics can apply for the Head Boy position. The highest postion a non-catholic can get to is the Assistant head boy position. I'm also sure it would be same for all Catholic schools in Ghana.

Goshers, the issue of Catholics only being head boys wasn’t so when I was there. I went to meet a Muslim as a head boy. There is a minor seminary attached to the sch. Try and interview their Senior prefect. Thanks

Mary's is my blood even though I came in just to better my grades and my life has been so much influenced by the school. Rising through to become an ASP was something that has never happened before. I am very grateful to all the teachers, especially DJ flexy, Sr. Gertrude and others. I am grateful to have lived a mark.

I know it is a tradition in many Catholic schools but in St. Mary's Boys, it wasn't. At least for the times I was there. I was under the reign of Three head boys and none of them was Catholic.
