Hi Rhys, quick question about your setup? Are you using 7wt lines on the stillmaniac? I’ve heard a few people say about using an 8wt line since it’s got such a fast action, would love to hear your thoughts. Great videos keep them up!
Hi Matthew. I use a 7wt floater on the 6wt still maniac (simply because the floater I use is more supple) and use 7wt lines for the 7wt still maniac. I don't feel it needs 8wt lines personally. thanks!
Been fishing at that venue for well over 15 years, my first ever visit to fly fish with my dad back when I was around 13 years old. When Huw had it, it was superb!! Brill vid as always 👍🏾

@@CBCB78 don't forget there's day ticket waters at Brenig, Trawsfynydd, plenty of wild brownie fisheries in Snowdonia around Blaenau Ffestiniog and the Ogwen Valley, there's various sections of the Dee and other rivers that are day ticket too.
