- Last week, Bloomberg reported that New Balance and Warrior had terminated my sponsorship agreement due to PLL uniforms being made by Adidas. More here:

Over a number of years, I’ve proudly worked with Warrior and New Balance - and they’ve been great partners. I’m disappointed in their decision, but remain resolute in the mission of the PLL to build a new future for players and our sport.
In today's monumental vlog, the PLL equipment partners came to the rescue, sending me heads, handles, elbow pads, and gloves for the remainder of our inaugural season.

This was such a middle finger to New Balance and it’s hilarious. Paul did not need New Balance/Warrior, but I have a feeling they will be missing him
Outside of lacrosse no one wears new balance and warrior. It was barely competing with nike adidas and underarmour bc they snagged all the star players.
@@samtexsemtex6998 actually, New Balance is actually pretty big in rugby and soccer for cleats, warrior hockey has done a phenomenal job within the pro hockey world. Also euro hockey are big into warrior.
@@johnnyutah1895 idk to much abt rugby but i wouldnt doubt that new balance is big there. But in soccer nike absolutely dominates it with adidas in far second. And in my previous reply i left out hockey. A lot of the big lacrosse brands r big hockey brands. Warrior. Baur. Brine
@@samtexsemtex6998 new balance is getting bigger, with a brand revamp, new shoes, and also getting bigger in baseball. They also sponser a couple big people like jack harlow
@@drewbair3433 i see that. But in terms of cleats. New balance is far behind even tho a lot of lacrosse players buy their cleats. They look cool but arent really comfortable. Much better off going with adizero or nike vapor edge 360 or underarmour spotlight

You should wear something new each period like elbows 1st then 2nd another elbow or gloves or whatever you go
Agree. Or you could rep each of the brand's during a whole game for the remainder of the season, rotating each week. This would be a nice gesture to all of the PLL sponsors

As a Lacrosse guy, father, and coach - Warrior is no longer a choice for gear if they will not sponsor the PLL in someway. I’m 40 and I’ve been waiting my whole life for a real outdoor lacrosse league like the PLL. I’m sure that I’m not alone in this decision.
Michael Silliman I’m 27, coach and player for club and I share your sentiment. Adidas gained a new fan, as did all the companies that stepped up.

I played all through high school, didn't have good grades or make a recruiting video figured I had no shot as it is South Dakota. Most we got was LE Nike gloves. Played Semi pro box for 2 seasons. got discount codes. NEVER have I gotten anything like this. Really wish I could have gone to the next level. I miss playing every moment of every day. Watching this gave me that feeling of getting my first stick all over again. Opening all that gear must have been a treat. Even though to Rabil I'm sure its just another "care package" having a signature head and all. I would be toooo excited for a video like this. I'd cry

@@owentheking524 If he's not under contract with any company (or companies), then he should be able to use anything he wants, as long as they are partners with the PLL. And the video stated that they are all PLL partners.

Maverik would be dope to stick with long term. Crazy light weight, durable shafts. Kinetik will be easy to adjust from Rabil II. The Carbon fiber shafts are harder to adjust to, but those EPOCH shafts are tight as hell. That ain't even cap.

You should use that Dragonfly shaft, that thing is so nicely designed I love it. Gonna buy one hopefully to start my lacrosse career back up, lol first year I’ll be playing in college. The but end looks amazing, mine would also come off when shooting in high school. The teams on the shaft is also such a neat touch!
Wear whatever you like best, but that dragonfly shaft has that extra custom which is pretty sweet

The dragonfly handle with all your teams was a nice touch. How about just use a different brands gear each quarter until a winner surfaces. That way you can show love back to all the sponsors and see which company’s care package best stands up to the Paul rabil game style intensity.

I like your idea of what you were saying about sticking with the Rabil 2 for the season until it ends, maybe you should switch between your PLL sponsored boxes of gear for each practice and pick and choose what you like to get your ultimate pll sponsor gear bag
Pick one box/company per week and then see what you like the best. Definitely start up a new line though

As a NB employee this honestly sucks. But lacrosse was the highlight of high school for me and I favor PLL and the growth of the sport more than anything. I’m still gonna rock my NB gear though lol

Love the transparency here PR. And kudos to the PLL sponsors for pouncing on this opportunity. Sponsors need to loosen up about the reality of athletes using brands for different things they are involved with (e.g. different sponsors for PLL vs. Team USA vs. whatever). I wouldn't buy stock in MLL sponsors at this point. :-)

Great vid Paul. I like all the brands who rose to the occasion and I think it shows your value as a creator and trend setter. You have built so much for our game and you deserve to have companies fighting for your signature. I’m not sure which set up you would be more comfortable with by I know from an in ovation standpoint epoch and ECD are both pushing what we know as normal for our sport and maverick has a large portion of the market with great pros and products. Use this time to tryout some different set ups on equipment and find your ideal way and make a playoff push!
My three boys look up to Paul in a big way. He’s a huge mentor for the sport. Too bad I won’t be buying them anymore Warrior/ New Balance gear. Nike you screwed up. 👎
Do a giveaway with the equipment you don’t need. It shouldn’t be hard, you have like 5 of each piece of equipment and we would all love it.

Hey Paul, you should wear and test one of all the kinds of gear that you got and do a video/review of what products you liked the best
100% finish with what you’re used to. Don’t want to change your game mid season just to get used to a new setup. Then find a new company willing to start another PR line with you
