Yeah it takes a while but after some tweaking and understanding what effects are good and what effects are cheap useless garbage, PodFarm 2.5 can bring out some nice tones, both clean and heavy.

I also recorded some parts beforehand as rhythm for the solos etc. Unfortunately footswitches are a pain in the ass to set up with Podfarm, so I used the built in switch of the analog distorion pedal which limits the sound a lot but I had to because there are so many changes between clean and distorion.

When I recorded this video I used an analog distortion pedal (mainly to switch between clean and distorted channels) , called DT-2 Distortion by AMT Electronics (it also says "Siberia Space Program" on the pedal, if it helps lol I borrowed it from a friend). The pedal was plugged into my Line6 UX2 audio interface which is connected to my computer to a Line6 sound software called Podfarm 2.5. There I tweaked a 4 band EQ, added some bass and treble boosters as well as a preamp (called "Classic American"). I don't remember the exact way I dialed it all. I am currently working on my next cover, Damage INC, which is also from MoP and because people really dug the tone on this cover I have been trying to replicate it using only the digital amps in Podfarm, without the pedal. I think the sound I came up with sounds even better, so stay tuned :)
