    I had no idea they made punches of that little hangy hole thing... I need one. Even if I dont hang any of my items up it makes any package look instant professional. Amazing~

    Love the earring packaging idea. I have always put mine in bags and know customers like to touch what they buy. I felt the bags would help the earrings stay in tact, but the draw back is the customer can't "feel" them. Have you noticed loss or damage when they are packaged in the open like this? Thanks. Bridget

    Question for you Lindsey - do you think it's ok to mix different brands of embossing powder? I have about 6-8 partial containers of white and would like to get them all in one large container.

    • @thefrugalcrafter
      @thefrugalcrafter  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Sharon Lones I wouldn not because one might go bad before the others unless you are going to use it right up. White might be OK, don't do it with metallic though

    As always, I love all your videos and your presentations. I especially liked the tool you used, the creative memory cutter. Where is that available? I looked on-line at various places, but couldn't find it -- must have been looking in the wrong areas (?) Thanks for all that you do!

      +gloria Eike I don't know if you can still get them, I've had mine 15 years (why do they get rid of good products?) they were sold at home parties by Demonstrators, not in stores.

      +thefrugalcrafter Lindsay Weirich Appreciate your getting back to me. Fiskars has something, but it's a bigger circle cutting area, it does come with die cutting molds but doesn't look as easy to use as the one you had in the video. I agree, things that work, should never be changed or discontinued.

      +LadyScrafts The one Lindsay used looks like the McGill tab hole punch. WeRMemory Keepers also makes one called the Euro Hook power punch. Both can be found at a lot of retailers (Amazon and Walmart carry them.)

    • @thefrugalcrafter
      @thefrugalcrafter  9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +pat l Yes, I have the McGill one, it was pricey but I got a spinning rack form my shop that holds the tub punched items, I got the rack free so I did not mind paying for the punch, I got ir when it was 50% off at joann.com, it was regular $60!

    • @limerent72
      @limerent72 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pricey but it seems like a really good punch, the way you punch out those tab holes looked real effortless. I have the WeR one, which I don't use as often as I thought I would.

    Ayup, that's us, your viewers, the wicked smaht ones! Do you have any brilliant ideas for post earrings? I've got a display that works for lots of them, but not for individual pairs...well I've got one, but I don't like it! I DO like your framed burlap...so if you've got any ideas...... Thanks!

    • @thefrugalcrafter
      @thefrugalcrafter  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +rufus1931 Yes, I did one folding a strip of paper into a tent (triangle) and made a frame like this with mesh behind it and put the earrings in there ad the posts were on the insode and the cards stood up on the table, you can see it here: th-cam.com/video/RYCRuVvHmbM/w-d-xo.html

    • @thefrugalcrafter
      @thefrugalcrafter  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +rufus1931 scan then and print them on acid free cardstock, you can even make them look better and sharper in your software, I use paint shop pro but you can use the program you like.

    Lindsay, I haven't seen any of your jewelry tutorials yet, because I am concentrating on your stamping and art tutorials. I don't know how to price some of my earrings, because I am using gold-colored and silver-colored (stainless steel) hooks, but not the precious metals. Also, where could I get the tab hole punch and a silicone matt, please? Also, did you have to hire someone to take care of your booth, or do you sell from there yourself? Thanks.

    I make similar notebooks (pop into your purse type things) and usually charge 2 or 3 dollars depending on how big they are and the level of detail I added. Even though the ones you made are from leftover card stock, you should still charge 2.50 or 3 dollars, don't you think? Thanks for the tip in that video!
