Wait! The token lot in this video was sold to me. I wanted to offer this collection to fans and collectors of tokens by breaking the set up and spreading the love! Grab a small mystery bag of some of these tokens from me here: spegtacular.com/shop/ols/products/mysterytokens Good luck and I hope you get some fun pieces for your collection!
tell coin guy that Trump wasnt shot . That was ONE HUNDRED PERCENT faked by the nosebergs . Thats a 1 in 10,000 shot - graze a nukka in such a way that theres no scar 2 weeks later --- unheard of . I agree with Guy that whats going on with the US govt not looking out for the us citizens is OUTRAGEOUS, ridiculous. Needs to be a lot a ppl tried for treason.. ppl givin money to border hoppers, netanyahu and zelensky and the rest of them
All it takes is two generations. My Grandfather was born in 1903 and saved coins and passed down to me. I bought key MS 70 low mintage gold coins and have a godson now 26 that has been collecting since age 5. He told his aunts, uncles, grandparents mom and dad all he wanted was coins for birthdays and Christmas when he was little and he has some beautiful old coins from 1700’s and 1800’s. He has a huge collection now. He would come over for every unboxing. So glad it stuck for him.
My family and I do not eat out anymore and haven’t in several years. Save a ton of money, we have become better cooks/much more creative in the kitchen, and eat much healthier.
Good for you! My parents divorced when I was 16 and I became the cook for the family since my Dad didn't get home from work until after 6. I became a good cook and like you, rarely eat out now. About the only time we eat out is when the food is something I don't typically make. My wife appreciates it, too!!
I drove 2 hours one way in 2020 to make a "first" buy of metals but the education that day and since have been invaluable to me. Thanks to Spegtacular for making the vids that brought me there. Coin Guy is an actual old school treasure!!!
Someone has already melted the goldbacks and weighed the results and they were incredibly accurate! He just put it in a crucible and put a torch to them and it turned into a gold bead that weighed exactly the amount it was supposed to, nothing was lost except the beautiful design of the gold spread so thin!
The method you and many other commenters are referring to is a process that takes a lot of work and you need a little science background to understand the method… that’s not something that’s feasible for the casual collector/stacker. What I’m asking for is something for the home that’s easy.
I hope you guys are doing well! I don’t know many people in Florida, but my mind immediately went to you (spectacular) and coin Guy. I hope u guys are doing well.
I really enjoy these chats with Coin Guy! Definitely going by his shop the next time I'm in the area. On another note, stay safe during this storm! Hopefully you don't have to be out in it for work or anything. I was in the direct path of Beryl not too long ago, and it was a pretty fierce category 1. Milton promises to be a beast. As always, I appreciate what you do!
JP Morgan holds millions of actual silver. The bullion houses trade billions of ounces of silver on a daily basis, but it is only paper silver... and that is what is what holds the price down.
I read a story a few years ago where a guy would go to the jewelry district in NY and when the crowds went away at night he would scrape the cracks in the sidewalk and would actually get gold from when the jewelry makers would walk around and have minute particles of gold get on the bottom of their shoes and he found that teeny weeny bit of gold. Very clever.
Love the Coin Guy & Brian. Hope you guys faired well during Milton. Looks like this was after hurricane Helene. Been praying for you all Speg! Let us know if y'all are okay after Milton. Love the videos!
When I was set up in an antique mall many years ago, I sold "Instant Ancestors". Interesting framed old people pictures with a crazy story I made up about them. Sold several a week. The goofier the story, the better they sold.
I had to sell my collection, I started in 92 a;ll I have left is my daughters birth year. thats why I hadnt been watching it hurts my soul, but I should have been listening to Guy . He has wisdom thats PRICELESS. Oh my it still hurts
I can relate slightly. I sold my gold coins last year to cover a surprise expense, and unfortunately that happened at the time when gold took a dip, so I lost money on them. Three months later, I was able to purchase, monetarily speaking… But by then gold was way up. Couldn’t believe my crappy luck on the timing. But you are not a “lone ranger“ in having had to sell your stack of coins. Life happens, things happen and yes… You can still rebuild.
They can't sell it? Either they don't know their own clientele and can't make a few texts like the rest of us dealers are doing, or they're buying wrong and refuse to adjust their margins?
Retail demand is down with prices being so high. A lot of people only buy when it is low. It is a challenge for the smaller shops that don't have as many options to move the metal quickly. Nobody wants to get caught holding when prices make the move down.
You should only sell your metals for emergencies or when you need cash when you retire. It's looking more and more like I will have to depend on my physical metal holdings as my pension. My work pension will be worthless and so will social security.
Just look at these owners of professional teams, like Mark Cuban, his houses and his yacht and Jerry Jones, owner of the Dallas Cowboys and his mega yacht that has 16 employees or more just to run and flies back-and-forth from Italy to the football games. Unbelievable.
Absolutely!!! I make around 70k am a single guy who lives alone and find myself living paycheck to paycheck, all I'm doing is paying for scheme on top of scheme 😢
About recovering the gold form a goldback - sreetips did a very good video about this topic. You need to burn them and afterwards treat the ash with aqua regia to get the gold in solution. Then you can drop the gold out of solution and melt it up into a button or bar. It should be relatively pure, so you don't need to re-refine it.
When your show is aired I get my notepad and pen and write all this great info that the coin guy and of course you mr.spectular..again I salute you all . thanks
I always enjoy these Friday morning videos. Guy is a truly great man knowledgeable about anything in life. Spectacular thank you for your great TH-cam channel/videos. I always look forward to Friday morning. God Bless
What upsets me is that Trump says he can end the war in a day but he won’t do it now so we can stop sending aid to Ukraine. If he was a patriot he would do what he can to end the war so spending can stop.
The closure of primary silver mines, driven by factors such as declining ore grades, increasing production costs, and market conditions, can further reduce the contribution of these mines to global silver production. As silver prices fluctuate, some primary silver mines have become unprofitable and have been shut down or put on care and maintenance. This can certainly lead to a situation where the percentage of silver produced from primary silver mines is even lower than the often-cited figure of around 30%. In contrast, mines that produce silver as a by-product may remain more stable because their profitability is tied to other metals, such as copper, zinc, and lead. These metals typically provide a financial buffer, making such operations more resilient to the volatility in silver prices. Thus, the share of silver from these multi-metal mines could become even more dominant. The trend of closing primary silver mines, especially smaller or less efficient ones, can significantly shift the balance towards by-product silver production.
For the record... I would absolutely watch a full coin guy video where no actual coins are present. Just Guy talking history and smack about today's world leaders and news stories.
Interesting you have been to Lake Lure, I live about 20 miles from there. Our church is serving as a location where we had many trailers delivered, from there we have been able to take supplies to the MANY needy.
I’ve watched almost every guy video, can you please have him explain the four letter code on the back of his coin holders? I’m guessing it’s a code on how much he has into the coin. Please, it’s driving me nuts not knowing!!!!
I had to take last year off to care for my mom. omg what a year we have survived but not without losing my collection. I'm crying just to remember watching and comparing what I had to what they were showing😓

Another great video with Guy. My dad has a collection of tokens that he has been putting together for years. Its always interesting to look at them since tokens haven't been used in a while and most are very unusual.
Before Hurricane Helene destroyed the Mountain towns in N.C. Albermale and Piedmont Corp. (both largely owned by Blackrock and Vanguard) who both process Lithium came a calling to buy up those properties on the now destroyed properties , but were rebuked by the owners ! Now they will come and find abandon properties that have almost no inhabants left , will they sell now or wait for round two of the 100 year flood event ,but only a year later this time !

I'd love to live close enough to Coin Guy to see him in person. Love these videos. Thanks Speg and Coin Guy!

I've done it with a ($15) ceramic crucible & ($29) MAP torch with a ($0.10) pinch of borax (flux) total $50 parts to do it. Not hard at all.
Then you’re not getting pure gold.
God bless you Coin Guy and God bless you SpegTacular....from the east coast of North Carolina! Love these chats with Coin Guy!!
I hope you guys are doing well! I don’t know many people in Florida, but my mind immediately went to you (spectacular) and coin Guy. I hope u guys are doing well.

stacking was the best thing i have ever done in my life, and the community is wonderful!!!!
Most Americans are tapped out due to the collapsing financial system, so stacking gold and silver now is critical for anyone who still can.

Yes ! They have been caught, fined and they still continue to do it. Because the fines are fraction of the gains they make.
