Roger McBride hey me too, just started listening to audiobooks, really getting in to them, not too keen on this reader, he's sorta jerky somehow? Just started it don't think I can listen all the way through even though I want to hear the story the narrator is really putting me off!!! Peace out
Did not expect this to become the epic of Gilgamesh 😅
Gilgamesh with a twist 😅
love Gregg's naration at 1.25 speed. sad to have lost this fine, generous librivix pioneer. try Duel on Syrtis too.
who is reading these stories - he is so good - very calming voice - and well read. good fun stories, too. thanks for posting :}
Gregg Margerite. He did many a narration for LIbrevox. Passed away in 2012.
Alexa Penn . Also one of my favorite authors. Brings a touch of nostalgia to the story.
Liquid Skin . Wow! What a lose". He will live on through these books for another hundred years at least.
love this my bedtime treat

My favorite narrator, Greg Margrit.

simpler times indeed when written !!!!!!

Sometimes when I read the papers and watch the news, evolution appears to be nothing more than a bad joke! Idiocracy seems much more likely!
...another blind arroyo which can happen when scientists daydream with their fingers
Absolute worst narrator/reader this channel features. Might as well transcribe the story into a Text To Speech program and have a robot read it.
captain kirk narrating........unbearable
@Dr. Hannibal Lester Go fu%k your self

It's a joke. I love these stories and appreciate the joke.

- Fuck off!
😆
@@motherflange It's just a comment.
I didn't listen because it's unbearable.
What's your problem?
Not the best thing that Mr. Simak has ever written (he was smoking the "Voyage to Arcturus" stuff), but still a fun story.
Yummy...You make it good.
