Our local politicians are mostly awful, corrupt crooks. Years after hurricane María many warehouses of unused supplies were found. That wasn't the US's fault, that was our local leaders failing. So why hasn't Biden-Harris done anything to help the continued recovery? Because no US administration has done much in the past either, other than hurricane Georges in 1998 where I remember more FEMA aid visibly around than before, but that recovery took a long time too. My 90+ year old parents who have recently deceased were war torn WWII survivors from Europe. The stories they used to tell us of of the atrocities they had to endure during those times was nothing short of a miracle of survival.
