I live in Baku and it's changing very quickly. The only dislike for me is the driving. Azerbaijan people are warm and kind, but driving is not their strong point.
Cars cars cars. I understand oil is cheap in Baku, but it is still a disappointment. The city is all flat and there is plenty space for bike paths. It would clean up the city so much, and make it more enjoyable both for residents and tourists. It really put me off when I visited in 2011.
Bakıdakı maşınların çoxu ya hibrid, ya da elektrikdir. Havaya çox az tullantı buraxır. Bakının relyefi və küləkli havası velosiped üçün çox da uyğun deyil.
@@Sultan_83 Backwards? Cycling infrastructure is a sign of development. And yes, I have been to Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia. Definitely Azerbaijan is the wealthiest country in the Caucasus, but I would say Georgia is the most culturally developed.
What about Bit Bazari, in Sabunchi? Or you record only central streets of Baku, copied from West, licked till the shine for showing off(you are the masters of showing offs.). Even in those central streets there are a lot of gaps of uncomfortable infrastructure for pedestrians. Also, i write it as a resident of this city, not like armenian, russian, iranian or extraterrestial from Mars, or another your countless "enemies-neightbours". Do not label me as an enemy right away, as you like to do.
