I’m pretty sure it was Dave, he’ll do that from time to time but keeps it on the low because he doesn’t want a bunch of guitarists asking him for free amps or feeling bad that he gave one to Greg and not them. Also, his reaction when Greg was telling him about it exuded discomfort.
Would be interesting to have someone do a profile on Dave Friedman, ask him questions for an hour.. and really catch a glimpse into those glorious thought processes that he posesses in his head. Ears for tone, ladies and gentlemen. Want to know more!

Except it wont blow up every 2 days, no shocks or sparks, it behaves, etc. etc. etc. Dude, it is a re-engineered Marshall type, which functions perfectly out of the crate. Dave himself makes no bones that it is based on a particular Marshall circuit. You pays your money, you gets the real deal quality amp needing no mods to make up for inferior parts etc. Worth. Every. Penny. Go mod a Traynor if you want. That will get you there for way less than starting with a Marshall.

I had an AT100 for a while. Sounded great with an MXR 10 band EQ. The thing ran pretty hot from what I remember.
