After they born and they start free swimming I feed the frys microworm. I get them from www.amazon.com/Live-Microworms-Fish-Starter-Food/dp/B01597GYXA?ie=UTF8&keywords=microworms&qid=1461539249&ref_=sr_1_2&sr=8-2 and they give me enough to start 3-4 cultures just in case one should fail I still have 2 -3.
u can put a potato(or any root vegetable) with a hole in it in the soil and wait for a week and u must have a cover so that they dont get washed away.Fertile soil do better.
Take a patoto cut into two pieces in make hole in patato and bury it into the ground.after one week u take out the patoato and put into the mixture of otmeal and yeast wait for one week u can warms claiming in box take some warms from it start new culture.
hellno noway I heard that if you put a slice of potato on the ground and wait a week, there'll be microworms on the potato (and probably some other things) and you can start a culture with that. Still trying that out myself. Microworms aren't everywhere though. Depends on where you live.
i live in a tropical country...i see fungi growing in the culture...but it has worms too...i am not sure the worms will survive or the fungi will take over...anyone has suggestion? should i stir the culture daily? show i spray water on it? *SOS*
Thanks you very helpful
Very helpful, thanks. Where do you keep them - how much light, and what temperature range works? Thanks :)
Where do I leave the culture? I've read conflicting methods about whether the culture should be placed in the dark or in the sun.
is it good for iridescent shark?
how to get the micro worm culture started without a previous microworm culture??
Does it stink up the place when you open it?

brebreboo lardoo
My culture randomly started in my grindal worms culture after it crashed down and I kept feeding it in hopes of a recovery. Lucky me.

oats turn into yeast over time . so both schools of thought are correct
OMG WHERE DO THE WORMS COME FROM THO?????? :-o
You have to order them online.
Do you really need a starter culture can't you start it with bread and yeast and milk only
You need a starter culture of worms to make bigger one. The bread, milk and yeast are only the food that the worms feed off allowing them to multiply.
