We're ending the year returning for a special Christmas treat! Beawesome Games invited me to experience a new sneak peek of content they've been working on. Keep in mind this content is work in progress and we did experience some bugs while playing but over-all it was a great time! I'm looking forward to seeing if 2024 becomes the year of the dragon. I think it's entirely possible and i'm super excited to experience it! Day of Dragons Beawesome!!! Day of dragons has been my pride and joy lately and I can't wait for the future updates to come! I'm especially excited for the Mimikor and the Zygovo, I just love how small they are and playing as them would be so awesome. :)
I love how realistic the flying is in this game, its so smooth and you can actually feel (or see) the heaviness of the wings as they fly, its better than most dragon games I've seen. I'm so excited for the 1.0 update
I keep hearing this opinion, but having played various games that allow you to fly as a creature, I find it difficult to understand this statement. Maybe it comes down to personal preference, but I really don't think they did their flying mechanism well, if I compared it to other games. Especially the steering looks very unresponsive and rigid, even on the Bio which is supposed to be super agile.
@@apalala4166 This is a very hardcore, brainwashed, cult of a fan base, you can't have a bad opinion or constructive criticism of the game around them. Honestly, half this chat looks botted, I played the game the past two weeks the player base isn't that big( and that's after you consider all the recent hype with this vid adding many new players to the game), you'll run into all the same people in the different lobbies. The player base that is there knows each other well

Day of Dragons Beawesome! I was a backer and im so excited for the official/full release!! Especially the Bio and the Zygovo (I think it was Microfeather or something) it's so beautiful. I dont mind games being buggy, as long as they aren't game breaking!

Idk, didn't honestly see anything too great here. We're still just seeing a shell of a game without much of the actual gameplay, which is still disappointing for 4 years.

They already have 3 dlc dragons you can buy which only one of are actually out and many more that are locked behind the original 2019 Kickstarter. They don't even have a damn map out, the game is still just place holders...

Hey Anth, there's another dragon survival game getting developed called Wings of Dawn, with original dragon designs in it. Might want to go give it a peep, so far they're working on a tech demo to be released in March.
I'm aware, They wanted me to record a very early demo back when they wanted to get funding and after talking with my friends / media peeps decided not to move forward with it. Maybe in the future though!!

Just to put this out there, I have been obsessed with Dragons for as long as i can remember, and this game is like a dream come true. A bit grindy in my opinion, but then so are most Survival games and frankly i wish the dragons would grow a bit faster so i'm not constantly getting murdered by literally everyone who's been on a server just an hour longer than me, but that's really the only gripe i've got. Can't wait for everything to be ironed out and implemented so we can see the game in its full Majesty

Day of Dragons Beawesome! Having this video made the way it is, helps shine a light that there is definitely still hope for Day of Dragons. There is no dragon game as addicting and that has as much eye candy when you break it down. Not everything can be perfected where it makes everyone happy, but they will definitely do their best.

i hope they add some sort of slowness debuff for the sandstorm and the heavy storm- and maybe buffing the BLITZ STRIKER to be able to fly normally during storms and having slightly better vision than other dragons?
I’m not playing this game until they fix the flying/fighting mechanics and the content is fully fleshed out. I bought the game, now it’s their job to fix it, that’s what I gave them the money for.

Hey Anth, I am one of the closed testers for Day of Dragons who pokes around to make sure everything's alright before the game goes into open testing, and because you're not too sure about what Dragon Pearls will do/behave like, I thought I'd share with you. (Given its information Jao has shared in the past and well, I'm allowed to, lol.) As you said, Dragon Pearls will behave as equip-able upgrades that you can earn, find, or even loot, but they're not only for upgrading your Dragons stats. While they will allow you to get perks in one way or another, they are also a way to unlock special customizations. Some Dragon Pearls will be dropped upon your death and will be lootable for other players (So watch out PvP'ers who may have something very special.) while some more unique ones (Like rewards you got for supporting the games Patreon.) will be forever bound to your account, like "Soulbound" or alike items from RPG MMO's. You can die, respawn, and still have this on you/will never drop it upon death. Much like an RPG MMO as well, there will be varying qualities of Dragon Pearls, which you will keep in your- um... Well, if I'm being honest, I forgot the word for it, but basically a throat pouch, since Dragon's don't have bags or pockets. They are very much a work in progress right now which is why only so much can be shown, but I imagine they'll change gameplay up quite lot for all sorts of players. PvE, PvP, RP'ers, everyone for every playstyle. It is thanks to you that I even gave Day of Dragons a shot after its rough history, and I'm so glad I joined the game and got to become a part of the community. i love how some of these are heavily inspired by the how to train your dragon for example the new glowy dragon is obvoisly the flightmare

Day of Dragons Beawesome, I hope this game keeps up in a positive direction, I'm still watching to see how it shapes up from the rough start it had, but I still have hope that this game can make a come back.
Hey Anth, I am one of the closed testers for Day of Dragons who pokes around to make sure everything's alright before the game goes into open testing, and because you're not too sure about what Dragon Pearls will do/behave like, I thought I'd share with you. (Given its information Jao has shared in the past and well, I'm allowed to, lol.)
As you said, Dragon Pearls will behave as equip-able upgrades that you can earn, find, or even loot, but they're not only for upgrading your Dragons stats. While they will allow you to get perks in one way or another, they are also a way to unlock special customizations. Some Dragon Pearls will be dropped upon your death and will be lootable for other players (So watch out PvP'ers who may have something very special.) while some more unique ones (Like rewards you got for supporting the games Patreon.) will be forever bound to your account, like "Soulbound" or alike items from RPG MMO's. You can die, respawn, and still have this on you/will never drop it upon death.
Much like an RPG MMO as well, there will be varying qualities of Dragon Pearls, which you will keep in your- um... Well, if I'm being honest, I forgot the word for it, but basically a throat pouch, since Dragon's don't have bags or pockets.
They are very much a work in progress right now which is why only so much can be shown, but I imagine they'll change gameplay up quite lot for all sorts of players. PvE, PvP, RP'ers, everyone for every playstyle.
