i dont know monster but i think dtb is actually a bit more depressing than elfen lied because of the way they show the facts in the anime and death note isant as depressing as it is about complex psicologic sides of a person either way season 2 for me is even more depressing seem how it ended for hei (if you consider that SPOILERS she died, if you dont he suffered a freaking lot still) darker than black is a great and amazing story either way
if Yin was meant, I figured she wasn't dead.Izanami is able to fulfill wishes.Zion asked her to transfer Suo and July to a copy of the Earth (or moon,I don't remember) that he created,and Hey something like "I Want to be with Yin".Yin separated from Izanami and was unconscious.She and Hey are in the gate (I think).The girl in the coffin who appeared at the end of this is from The past.Kirihara (its like so name is) together with organization, in that she has entered in 2 season will with it deal. Sorry if there are errors.I wrote with the help of a translator

i agree with FMAB, but i think some depressing moments where mostly Code Geass and Freezing. those animes got to me >.
