New Impressionz gotta helluva pocket 🥁 🔥🔥🔥 Is spook their regular Congo player? My biggest issue with go-go is the next generation of bands to become big headliners to threaten BYB, NEG, RE, JYB … the bands I grew up and love. The genre needs an infusion of new talent. Not just “up and coming” but takeover type talent.
Summer in the Parks and the Showmobile..Yes...Dawn of GOGO..NO..Those bands from 69' to 79' were not GOGO Bands.. They were Funk R&B bands that loved that DC groove and took pride in their unique skills as musicians and singers. However they did lay the foundation for GOGO. But sadly those groups seem to have been forgotten. 🤟🏾🎼🤟🏾
